I don't think he's stalling. I though it was previously reported that talks had been opened but then put on hold when Brendan left. So they have now been re-opened. Don't see how that is stalling. He's entitled to get the best deal for himself. Nothing wrong with that. If he stays this season he will have honored his contract. That's what contracts are all about.
Casual are you high on something or what? there will always be player's solely driven by money, but there will be players who want to play for a proper football team, that's why we are where we are, what's your problem!................
I agree that there are players who want to pay for a proper team. But I disagree with "no player with any sense would pass over the experience from such a Player and Manager". I say that plenty of players with sense would pass up the opportunity of a big 4-6 club came calling. They mostly have proven managers. Laudrup hasn't proved himself yet. He was a great player but that doesn't mean it's a foregone conclusion that he'll be a great manager. Personally I think he will be, but at the moment I don't think he's seen as so great that players wouldn't pass on it. Are you saying that Siggy doesn't have any sense? Spurs or Swans (with Laudrup)? I think the overwhelming majority of players would choose Spurs.
All clubs are always monitoring large amounts of players. Sometimes even 100s. It doesn't mean they plan to buy them anytime soon. They would be stupid not to monitor them. But it's such a vague term that it's pretty meaningless. And since when did the daily mail know what was going on. Just silly season reporting.
he is waiting for either fulham who have shown an interest or any other club for that matter to make a bid for him which in turn clears the way for him to go to liverpool if rodgers wants him....Its as obvious as that. rodgers cant be seen to make the first move due to the gentlemen's agreement.....
Perhaps here ? Though nothing is definite as we saw with siggy http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/S...-Flores-deal/story-16480186-detail/story.html
monk looks to be on his way to bristol city just like i said i was told last week. good luck to him....
i hope we can keep monk myself even if he dont play that much, his presence in the dressing room is worth it, i suppose its up to mr laudrup and how he See's things...
It would be good if he gets his coaching badges though, and maybe a season or two playing in the championship would be good. Would like to see him have a role at our club in future, and it being Bristol he doesn't really have to move house
Off topic but it seems Sigurdsson choose the fat contract at Spurs and we told his dad to piss off when he demanded higher wages. Pity... Do you lot honestly believe Sinclair is going, and possibly to Liverpool? Haven't seen much of the usual discussion of him on rumour sites (although they are usually ****e) and it'd be a big surprise at our end.
Good managerial stability is what we need ,we have been fortunate with the Boards choices to date (jury obviously is still out on ML) but it would be nice to have some relatively long term managerial staff .Good managers are hard to find so why not develop someone who clearly loves the club etc .Thats not say that Gary would be any good but I believe he with support from the Board could be something which could remove the search of a new manager every two years !
Oops,my mistake,Dragon. You are North Gower, aren't you. I should have said gun running. Are those self portraits,by the way? Handsome.
