we have fans that think our striker is brillient....how long is his present barren run been going now.....not counting the barren runs previous.. priceless absolutely priceless, even brendan wants someone better.......i think you had better inform him we dont need a striker who can score on a regular basis because im sure he is in the market looking for one.....or is he deluded as well.......comedy gold this is...

He is a very good player and has done a good job, but when he gets very little of the ball in the right area it's a thankless one! But then as you don't go to games obviously , you only see 10 minutes or so of motd and read reports from the press, and the occasional game on sky maybe ? So you are not seeing the full picture on this. I am just wondering who would have done a better job as a lone player up front, we have a limited budget so we got the best player I think for the money.
I wonder how many set pieces Graham headed us to safety out of our box , I wonder how many times he set up the assister , I wonder how many bad passes were hurried by Danny that turned out to be an attacking play for us . You guys that think that all there is is goal totals ( of which Graham hasn't done to bad ) are missing the big picture on Danny ..
Quite. Unless the person moaning feels there was a better alternative, what's the point? Might as well give the players we do have our full backing seeing as the club aren't allowed to buy anyone for a few months yet, you know, show a bit of loyalty. Oh, wait... that's not good enough...
Still won't get through to Dai boys. He's adament a sole strikers only purpose is to score every game.
Perhaps he'd be so kind as to point out that striker and then lend the club the money to sign him/pay his wages?
who cares what other clubs strikers do.? you should be concerned why our strikers especially danny who plays as the main striker but cant score. other teams have other regular goal scorers while we have a loan player to get the goals. What is the job of a striker in any team....to score goals and im afraid there have been to many barren runs from danny this season to warrant him as being average let alone good....I like the player i really do but i dont let that influence me... His skill as a lone striker and the misses he has done this season and his shocking barren runs without a goal is not good.....he would be better off playing for a team that suits his style and we would be better off looking for a continental striker that can play ours.....
Dai are you really sure you like him , he's the only that you single out for verbal abuse , what about the other 10 players who individually have weaknesses but you ignore those (just a thought like )
Dai, you're talking rubbish 10 goals is a return most strikers in the Premiership would be happy with, never mind one that cost 3.5mil and had to put up with people expecting him to score a hat trick every game. You're saying he's not even average? Would you say that to his face? I hope you're not this negative when you're in the ground, that's all I'll say!
Dai your obviously on a windup!............................. dragon the one thing i dont do is wind up when it concerns the swans.. 10 goals is poor.......and without siggs and the odd goal from dyer we would be fcuk ed......sinclair has also been poor in the goal department, at the start of the season fans were coming on here saying sinclair will get 10 goals and danny would get 15-20.....we are still waiting and thats why these two players have been the most disappointing for me this season. im very concerned about danny's barren runs he has had this season, it has nothing to do whether a fan likes the player or not and why should it....

i have said before that dont wash as other teams have many in their side who score goals, we relied on danny until siggs came in...and thank god for that as we would be in trouble if all we had was danny to rely on......
So he is one of the top scorers in the premier league, and that is not good enough, sorry that don't wash with me either, and by the looks of things with a majority of people on here, and with the people I go to games with.
Well, he did come in, so you're worrying about something that hasn't happened. Stop stressing so much and admit Danny Graham is a good centre forward. 10 goals at PL level, for 3.5mil, is a bargain whether you'll admit it or not. His goals have dried up because instead of him being the focal point and getting a few chances a game, it's now Sigurdsson and you've got to feel for DG.
top with 10 goals... do me a favour we are around the bottom of the league on goals scored......not good enough....and have had our season saved by a loan player..
