What about Martinez as your next manager? What would you think of that if it could happen.
After all, I believe that he should still be given an enomormous amount of credit for putting together the basis of you team/work ethic and flair.

i think we have moved on higher than martinez now and as martinez is a loyal man then he will stay with wigan now. only a top team would tempt him...we would not...

Good luck and thank you to Brendon Rodgers. It was great while it lasted! A big thank you for signing a new deal and giving the club a £5million payday. Like many though I think you might find leaving the Swans has its problems. I have faith in Huw Jenkins and our board to find a new talent to develop our brand of football and take us on. There are interesting days ahead and lots of speculation as Huw plays with his hand close to his chest. No doubt the new manager will surprise everyone! Here is to the next season in the Premiership with a new manager!

He's done the same to us as he did to the Watford boys, they warned us at the time we signed Rodgers, what he would do, and they were right, so we move on, at least he didn't damage the inheritence we had from Martinez & Sousa!............ <ok>

Well now we know the truth ! he`s gone and we have to emerge from this stronger if next season is not going to be a mare.

I`m in two minds on Rogers decission to leave us.

Firstly a big factor is the money he will make and to have liverpool on his cv is no small feat iff he does well for them.
He did well for us improving the already evolved team we had with a few new class players in and loaned .
He signed the contract with the £5m earner for us if he left.
He got us to wembeley and up to the prem as playoff winners the hard way to do it.

But secondly he has left us at a critical time which could affect siggy and our players staying.
Similarly to bobby brown shoes infamous quote they`ll have to drag me kicking and screaming out of here Rogers said he loved it here and could see himself retired here after football walking along the mumbles as an old codger ( or similar words, fat chance now)
Also i think the hype around him has portrayed him to be much better than he really is ala dodgy subs and losing when we should have won- wolves etc and not competeing against teams around us norwich etc..

It could be a blessing in disguise as when our other managers fooked off we got a better man in thier place.
So on the one hand thanks brendan and good luck.
on the other hand you sly bogtrotter i hope you fail big time and fook off back into the wilderness judas mk2 with your bag of gold .

In time i suppose it wont bother us too much as with judas mk1 <grr> but if we drop as a result of his tretchary he will go from a once loved to hated in these parts forever ! im sure a sly guy like him will care about that a lot <laugh>

    Onwards we go stid.

you would not be slagging rodgers so much if the chairman had be open and honest on what was going on. ffs rodgers made it plain that he would only move if a big club came in for him and thats exactly what he has done, dont tell me jinks did not know what was going on because everyone else did it was reported many times. It was jinks and his inability to tell the truth and try to cover what is really happening. Brendan was always going to accept the liverpool job from day one and if you believe anything else then you are so gullible. good luck to brendan you have not let anyone down as you said right from the start with us what your intentions were. <ok>

I understad you dislike HJ a lot superswan but if he knew it was coming then i hope a good replacement is imminent . My only major gripe with BR is the Siggy deal may be lost because of the timing and others may be unsettled by him leaving.

As for slagging him off as i said in time it wont bother us so much but as it`s just been confirmed it is raw and a bit of toungue in cheek frustration can be vented about the situation dont you think ?
