We should have beaten them home and away Just because we want to win doesn't mean that we have to go all gung ho. We may be more disciplined and controlled than usual but that does not mean we're being defensive and only looking for a draw.

I think he will play 4-2-3-1. Just like we normally do. Players will be given slightly different instructions to be more controlled and disciplined. In these games, teams tend to be cautious because they want to dominate. It may not be aggressive but it's about gaining control. If you think that's negative or 'settling for a point' then I can't say any more on the matter.
with respect..... if you play a pressing game with SOME players against the big sides you can do a lot of damage. therefore picking a 4-3-3 is absolutely fine if two midfielders sit and then coutinho suarez henderson and sturridge press and give no comfort. "attacking" sides are misnomers. all sides should be both attacking and defensive. If you sit back like we did v arsneal with 5 at the back chances are you get handed your head. press, make it uncomfortable to play us and out work the oppistion then you've always a chance.... but you don't push your full backs right forward do you? its just sensible.
