Bollocks. How do you know that? simple really kangaroo i am a realist who knows about football and you....well quite frankly know sod all and a muppet.....simple really in it....
You're such a ****ing know-all aren't you? Ironic when you don't even go to the games. No wonder you're making such daft comments on here. Think you'll find that most fans on here agree with my assessment of the way we're going, not yours. Are they muppets too? The irony is that it's clear from you're comments that you know NOTHING about football. A fair weather fan that turns on his team every time we go on the slightest losing streak. A pillock of the highest order and no mistake.
3 teams... 16th , 17th & 18th , must average 2 points a game & we must lose the rest to get relegated , were staying up . Now in my eyes a manager that is going to plan for next season will sit Sig & Caulker a bit & play some of the squad for experience . A manager who plays his top 10 all the way through is adding to his resume ....
what was the situation with the departures of pablo sousa and martinez? i suspect rogers would have similar clauses in his contract to them...he owes the club more than some people in the media think.....the setup for passing football was already there, so trying to do the same at a direct team would be difficult and maybe take years to realise.... in the current market i'd say about £4-5m would be a suitable release fee..
at the moment the way he has got the team playing we would be lucky to get anyone interested in him let alone pay money for him. he has lost the plot just like he is losing many admirers at the moment.
Super, don't agree with a lot you say, but I will agree that at present Brendan's stock has got down in recent weeks. We've been on a slow downwards spiral since the Fulham game where we played our best game of the season. Were slowly getting back to our full potential, but some players need to up there game, as theres still a lot of points to be gained and what to points make!!!!
I think it's true to say that BR's stock has regressed of late, but Alan Green,(not a fan of his),was waxing lyrical about him on radio earlier this evening. "Manager of the season" according to Green.
That`s not a bad idea, might be especially good to give Siggy a rest! Get one or two changes in the team who are eager to show what they can do. After our recent performances, it can`t do any harm, well hopefully it would`nt ! Never a truer word spoken.
I'd like to see Jazz play a few games and the likes of Obeng and Situ to get some minutes if only to see where they really are.
he can still be manager of the season if he gets back to how he coaches best im sure. but im afraid im leaning more to lambert or pardo to pick up the accolade. id love to see brendan start at qpr and play a more attacking game with our players taking on and beating players with their pace and skill like we did against chelsea man utd/city and even liverpool away. it was a far better entertaining game to watch than how brendan has had the team play recently,
but surely you should judge him over the course of the season, not by his last 3 games dai...and there are plenty of managers doing far less with far more resources....look at mcleish, he got birmingham relegated and pitches up at villla....surprise surprise they are battling relegation, now theres an average manager for you..
Don`t think that will happen. Seriously though Dai, I agree with your sentiments. The last 3 games, although we did`nt play that badly, should be a wake up call to BR. He has said that goals (points) are more important than plaudits, let`s start against QPR.
swamp i agree but lambert and pardo have just as much claim for the manager of the season and if we fizzle out then that must count in their favour, all three were in contention......personally there is only one man for the title and that is Sir Alex for the way he got his worst man utd side in decades to catch man city on points and goal difference and overtake them at the final fence, to me it was a brilliant piece of managerial skill when nobody was giving them much of a chance halfway through the season....
If you look at the way he has handled Man U and the way Mancini has handled Man C over the last couple of weeks and you can see why he has been successful over 20+ years
has to be the greatest manager of all time anywhere in the world, i cant see how anyone will ever surpass his achievements in a life time,
The only negative I would put to that is that he should have conquered Europe more often in that period. In European football his tactics were sometimes naive.
