I agree he does have the potential. I think it's important not to get carried away yet - we havent played a game yet! But I do agree he seems a very good fit and very convincing. I like his formation too.

Some players need to come in, and clearly some out too.

You can't really handle people disagreeing with you can you... You're the one that mentioned Ronaldo in the first place, or is your brain too small to remember that?

    Mate you've watched us play

You've seen how we shape up in attack like a lob sided drunk using a wall to slide up stairs.
    No delivery
Players running into each others space and crowding themselves getting in each others way and all with out Andy even playing.
Noone ever out there to pick up second balls, wtf was that about. Downing Johnson have both been piss poor in their movement with the ball and choices and crossing. Adam presses too far forward and leaves huge gaps behind him spearing too gets caught out, fa cup final he was responsible for both goals.

It has not worked and some players have looked worse, Downing has not been great but he's cetainly not as awful as is being said of him. Andy has been poor and has gotten a lot better, funnily enough the two players Henderson and Carroll get to into the England squad. Managers know nothing it seems and fans know everything. <laugh>

No, I am saying, it was a mere ref to ronny, not a debate about his stats, great player so what else can I say, I dont abuse you, wtf are you on about man, I think you may be reading too much into my post mate <ok>

Not joining this argument as it's pointless! So, I'll just make a few comments.

Liverpool are not going to start the season playing Tiki-Taka.

It's Rodger's job to maximise the skills and abilities of the squad he has inherited by finding a winning system and personnel.

The squad that he inherits contains far more quality than any other side that he has managed.

ALL of the squad and the manager are now engaged upon a steep learning curve which we hope will lead us to success.

I wish Brendan and the squad well in their endeavours.

This is why I stopped coming on this site for months, you post innocent comments and some cock from a different club, or today from our own club in the form of BBF lays into you rather than has a decent educated debate. Anyway I'll do what BBF advised and go away again.

Mate stay put and fight your corner. Everyone here is entitled to an opinion, and a barage if they try to shoot you down.

As long as you continue to use logic then you're not the person looking silly.

I tihnk you may be reading too much into my post mate

It was not a ronny debate yet you latched onto that and fired stats at me when we're talking andy and lfc, not ronny.

My point on ronny was a mere reference, he was nothing to the player he was when he left or is now and we didnt see it coming.
You didnt post stats about lucas telling me I was right, to be fair :) hence the Troll reference

And the stats you provided probably proved you right hence the 100% right, noone said fk off or anything, sandyvagmuch

Don't agree. He is intending to, and our board are intending him to, implement the football he has put forward previously. Does a leopard change its spots?

I know there is the argument you have to make what you've got work - but he will use the tactics he always does and I welcome that.

Whilst I agree, I still believe that you can spot a player's potential a mile away. Carroll will be a very good, but limited player, in my opinion. I've not seen enough in him to be convinced that he'll be any more than that. I hope to Fowler that I'm wrong, and he does turn out to be an absolute revelation, the pivot between midfield and attack who creates space for the other attacks and plays them in, who bangs in 20 goals a year....but I just don't see it. We could and should be buying someone of real quality who'll fit in better with what Rodgers wants to do.

And armchair managers are the future ;)
