Ron, can you help me please. I know you understand how odds work ect, so can you tell me how much would this person could have won if the last horse came in as a winner? The bet was £10 each way apparently - if that makes any sense to you.

Sorry jack. My telephone line has been brought down and I have no internet. Quickly on via daughter's mobile. Should be back tomorrow morning. However meanwhile, all those bets are single bets. If you meant an ew accumulator I'll do it tomorrow.

I have tried doing it myself on an online calculator. It is an accumulator by the way. I understand your limitations your end but does this kind of look right?

The return would have been £535.25

An ew accumulator is a win accumulator and a place accumulator. As soon as one doesn't win the win accumulator has lost. So it would have been a place accumulator regardless of whether the last one won or placed.

There is an if cash bet which says all the return (if any) from the first bet goes 50/50 ew on the next bet. If cash all the returns go 50/50 ew on the next bet etc. That would have returned more maybe.

I watched some football from Adams Park this evening on the tele. There were 7 goals. I think it was a video of your home match highlights for the season just gone........<whistle>
