So you finally make the third round, fancy a derby? On another note has meowth been around at all? Not seen him on here since the Summer.
A local derby would be great, Liebherr With regards to meowth, I believe I am right in saying that some gobby prat annoyed him considerably on the Premier League Politics thread some months ago, with a disgusting comment he made. Shame, because he is sadly missed on here, with his humour and knowledgeable comments. Hope he returns soon.
Cheers for the response Woops, and that is a shame as he was posting quite regularly on the Prem board too, that thread is a shambles full stop though. Glad to hear that he's okay though and like you hope he's back soon. Hopefully I'm back this time tomorrow night too
Thanks for the commentary again Woops. Perhaps the difference between a confident team and a struggling team: I notice this season we are managing more shots and shots on target than the opposition in games where we do not dominate possession. Quite the opposite to last season.
please log in to view this image So, for the 3rd Round of the FA Cup, we have been drawn away to the current Championship leaders Norwich City ! Should be a good game. With our away form this season, we must be in with a chance of getting something at Carrow Road. Time will tell.....
Pompey’s Emirates FA Cup trip to Norwich has been selected for live overseas broadcast. The third round tie at Carrow Road will kick-off at 5.30pm on Saturday, January 5. Pompey will receive 2,700 seats for the contest, as the club would have had to pay for any unsold tickets from a larger allocation. Dates for when these go on sale will be announced in due course.
Do you not think you'd sell 15% then? Surprised by that as you've had some decent followings in the league over the past year or so. Or are people understandably not bothered about the cup this year? I'm hoping ticket prices are decent for our match at Derby and we take a full allocation.
Probably could/would sell more tickets if the kick off was at 3 pm ! The thought of leaving the ground after the match at say 7.30 in the evening, in early January is hardly an attractive proposition.
Told you Though admittedly I didn't realise it was a late ko. We took an 'initial' 3100 for derby, hopefully if it's selling well we'll take the extra 1700.
