With the 'Wall going out as well, this Board is either going to be very quiet cum Monday or a seriously depressing site.
Well nobody is going to be accused of being too negative after this one, I challenge anyone to dig out something positive. Smith still attracts the long ball and I don't care what anyone else thinks off him, he is awful. Anybody with his height should be winning far more in the air. Agree about Austin, I have to admit he is not what I was hoping for, I slated Clayton for one good game in 4, Austin is no better.
None of them look arsed, no chasing after the ball or running into space. That's not a lack of quality that's a lack of motivation.
How the **** does a League Two side have more energy than us by the 85th minute? When we've done giant killings we've always looked knackered by the 85th minute, but no, because we've not pressurised them at all. Not pressurised them on the ball, no interceptions, no running into space. No running after lost causes. They could not be arsed at all
That was worse than Histon by a long way. Awful. Only player with credit was Kenny and BMcD must take blame too
I guess we will come out with the classic line "the league is our priority & although a cup run is nice, its a distraction" - watch this space!! Hats off to Rochdale & good luck in the next round.
My prediction from earlier. Why so many think this team is capable of hammering anyone is beyond me. Totally devoid of any class or ideas. For the umpteenth time owners need to spend 10m for each of the next four transfer windows. Forget the Mickey Mouse signings
Shocking, a shambles, I expected a tough game, but FFS we were crap, passing, shooting crap. Subs were too late. Clueless. Fecking angry, the club should get the players to re inbuse those poor feckers who travelled to the game....
I think we have some serious problems as we had absolutely nothing today. Rochdale played extremely well, not to take anything away from them, but they were up against such a dire team
Mother in law totally fecked up this morning, now that abject display of utter tripe. Time to get pissed methinks
Agree, the youngsters should have started. I woulds love to have seen how players like Dawson and Killock (rejoing Chester tomorrow) are getting on
McDermott totally to blame today, had a chance to freshen things up but stuck the same tired a lacking confidence players. He deserves as much grief as the ****e players. Also once again crap use of subs. As I said yesterday two or three signings will not make us promotion contenders, need to start yet again in the summer with a full clear out.
