Barnsley are on the verge of signing Rochdale duo Scott Wiseman and Matt Done for undisclosed fees, the BBC reports. Defender Wiseman and midfielder Done were both wanted by former Dale boss Keith Hill at his new post at the Championship club. Hill's replacement at Rochdale Steve Eyre told the club website that he was not going to block his players from playing at a higher level. He said: "They have the chance to play at Championship level and I'm not going to stand in their way. "I also don't want players at the club whose hearts and minds aren't 100 per cent Rochdale, so I'll give them my best wishes and move on." Done, aged 22, had signed a new one-year deal at Spotland only last month, while 25-year-old Wiseman was only one year into the two-year deal he agreed in June 2010. The pair will now reunite with Hill and his assistant David Flitcroft at Oakwell. The management team left Spotland on 1 June to take up their new roles. Barnsley finished 17th in the Championship last season.
