It was only bravado yesterday, saying Robbo was off as a precaution then

QPR’s Jack Robinson is being assessed after suffering another injury.

Left-back Robinson, who spent over a year on the sidelines with a knee injury, did not appear for the second half against Norwich because of a hamstring problem.

He was hurt during the first half of the game at Loftus Road, where Rangers won 2-1 in their first match since Ian Holloway’s return as manager.

“It’s his hamstring. Let’s hope that’s not serious,” Holloway told West London Sport.

“I thought Robbo coming off hurt us a little bit because he’s so good going down that side with his pace.”

Robinson’s withdrawal meant Sandro, an outcast under Holloway’s predecessors, was brought on for the second half against the Canaries for his first league appearance of the season.

It also meant that Joel Lynch was moved across from centre-back to replace Robinson at left-back.

Lynch was impressive, producing a number of surging runs and crosses on the left-hand side.

“Sandro hasn’t put a foot wrong all week. I’m not going to ignore that,” Holloway said.

“I thought Lynchy was absolutely outstanding. He was dancing down the wing like he was (Alfredo) Di Stefano. It was unbelievable.”

I know Lynch was great yesterday...but Di Stefano...really

His throw-ins are fantastic. He said after the game that his injury was just a minor tweak and he was taken off as a precautionary measure. He should be fine for next week.

Some people think we should get rid quick.<whistle>

Seriously? He had a terrific 45 minutes on Saturday: his pace, his crosses and it looks like he can defend as well. His long throw is an added bonus; for a fella that slight, he achieves an amazing distance with it. Best of all, it's a very flat, long throw which is even harder to defend against.

I don't want to rush to judgment but, if he stays fit, he could become a very important player for us.

BUT IN THE REAL WORLD HE IS THE MAN OF GLASS AND WE CAN ONLY PLAY HIM 10 GAMES IN EVERY 30 BUT CERTAINLY HE IS WORTH PLAYING AS HES SUCH A SPECIAL PLAYER BUT I THINK OLLY WILL BUY TWO WINGERS IN JAN TO PLAY THE WING BACK ROLES

Ted...keep up we have wingers...Shodipo (who is really good) , Pawel the Pole , El-K and Yeni too...not sure it is wingers we need

THESE ARE NOT WINGERS THEY ARE ALL USELESS HOLLOWAY WILL BRING IN 100 MILE AN HOUR MEN THAT CAN CUT A TEAM TO RIBBONS AND SCORE TEN GOALS A SEASON
PLEASE KEEP UP REMEMBER THIS IS HOLLOWAY A MANAGERIAL GENIUS NOT CLEMENT

WELL OLLYMANIA HAS ARRIVED AND WE ARE ALL GETTING A BIT MORE CONFIDENT
I CAN FINALLY SLEEP AT NIGHT
I KNOW THESE BOYS CAN PUT UP A GOOD FIGHT
BUT GERRY FRANCIS PROVED NO MATTER HOW GOOD A TEAM IS ,IF YOU ATTACK THEM THEY CRUMBLE
YOU SAW HOW AGAINST NORWICH IN THE SECOND HALF WE TOOK OUR FOOT OF THE GAS PEDAL
AND WE NEARLY LOST EVERYTHING
IN MY 62 YEARS OF WATCHING FOOTBALL IVE FOUND OUT ITS ALL ABOUT THE MANAGER
DONT FORGET NIEL WARNOCK TOOK OVER THE WORST TEAM IN THIS DIVISION LAST SEASON AND TOOK THEM ON AN UNBEATEN RUN
THIS YEAR THEY ARE ONCE MORE BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE
ON THE FANTASY ISLAND I HAVE A LOT OF LOVE PUT ON ME BUT THEY GENERALLY THINK IM MAD
SO I GOT NO SUPPORT WHEN I TRIED TO RE INSTATE WARNOCK AS OUR MANAGER
WE WILL GO UP THIS YEAR
UNLESS WE MEET CARDIFF IN THE PLAY OFFS
UP AGAINST THE GREATESTEST MANAGERIAL GENIUS IN FOOTBALL HOLLOWAY IS GPOING TO COME SECOND
BUT IF WE AVOID THEM AND GET INTO THE PLAY FINAL WE COULD EASILY COME UP
ITS ALL ABOUT MANAGEMENT
AND THE GERRY FRANCIS ETHOS OF STARTING OUR ATTACKS FROM THE BACK ON THE PLUS SIDE
WE HAVE A STRONG SQUAD,BUT MY IDEA OF WARNOCK AND HOLLOWAY WILL PROBABLEY
NEVER HAPPEN WHEN I SUGGESTED IT TO WARNOCK HE NEARLY PUNCHED ME ON THE NOSE
BUT BETH ENJOY THE RIDE THIS SEASON AS WE POWER INTO THE PLAY OFFS

That's a big "if"
