It was only bravado yesterday, saying Robbo was off as a precaution then http://londonfootballnews.co.uk/qpr/injury-worry-qpr-defender/ QPR’s Jack Robinson is being assessed after suffering another injury. Left-back Robinson, who spent over a year on the sidelines with a knee injury, did not appear for the second half against Norwich because of a hamstring problem. He was hurt during the first half of the game at Loftus Road, where Rangers won 2-1 in their first match since Ian Holloway’s return as manager. “It’s his hamstring. Let’s hope that’s not serious,” Holloway told West London Sport. “I thought Robbo coming off hurt us a little bit because he’s so good going down that side with his pace.” Robinson’s withdrawal meant Sandro, an outcast under Holloway’s predecessors, was brought on for the second half against the Canaries for his first league appearance of the season. It also meant that Joel Lynch was moved across from centre-back to replace Robinson at left-back. Lynch was impressive, producing a number of surging runs and crosses on the left-hand side. “Sandro hasn’t put a foot wrong all week. I’m not going to ignore that,” Holloway said. “I thought Lynchy was absolutely outstanding. He was dancing down the wing like he was (Alfredo) Di Stefano. It was unbelievable.” I know Lynch was great yesterday...but Di Stefano...really
yeah ollies always hes the man ,hes bill shankly the second, now for a six nil victory against bottom of the league rotherham im betting on a five match unbeaten run of four wins one draw
What a pity, with his pace and his throw-ins Robinson really offers us that extra element. Let's hope for his speedy recovery.
He really is our Rory Delap. Seems to make almost any throw in the offensive half the equivalent of an indirect free kick.
His throw-ins are fantastic. He said after the game that his injury was just a minor tweak and he was taken off as a precautionary measure. He should be fine for next week.
Seriously? He had a terrific 45 minutes on Saturday: his pace, his crosses and it looks like he can defend as well. His long throw is an added bonus; for a fella that slight, he achieves an amazing distance with it. Best of all, it's a very flat, long throw which is even harder to defend against. I don't want to rush to judgment but, if he stays fit, he could become a very important player for us.
BUT IN THE REAL WORLD HE IS THE MAN OF GLASS AND WE CAN ONLY PLAY HIM 10 GAMES IN EVERY 30 BUT CERTAINLY HE IS WORTH PLAYING AS HES SUCH A SPECIAL PLAYER BUT I THINK OLLY WILL BUY TWO WINGERS IN JAN TO PLAY THE WING BACK ROLES
