Hmmm.... couple of things: "First chance we had 4,500 of our fans went to Wigwam on a cold Tuesday night to let him know exactly what we thought of him." Funny - I thought they went to watch a football match. If anyone went just let Martinez know what they thought of him then they are pretty sad individuals. " A few borderline insane loyalists without the mental capacity for logic keep claiming the other." Disapponted with that to be honest. You are just the other side of the Daiswan coin with a comment like that. Sadly, denigrating posters who have an opposing view is de rigeur here these days. Despite what many think I am definitely not insane and have more mental capacity than many on here thanks, and if you're referring to logic then for me it's illogical to waste one's time and energy on hate. Fans' emotional attachment to clubs makes them unable to see the wood for the trees sometimes. Football is a business and every person who makes a living from it is out to further their own careers. If you worked in say, banking and had the offer of a job at a much bigger branch where you'd earn five times the salary you would take it. Sorry but you are lying if you say otherwise. You'd also look to make a success of your new career choice and if that meant taking talented staff with you you'd do that too. The people left behind are bound not to like it but you cannot blame the person one bit. We wouldn't have given Brighton fans a second thought if we'd have taken Poyet from them when he was there - at one time that was a possibility. It happens. The reason I thought the Rodgers situation was worse was because we covered that base with an agreement that he breached in spirit if not in law and that was very underhand.
Only fans stay with one club, Everyone else involved with football move around to the best deal they can get for themselves. The quicker you learn that the quicker you will stop making fools of yourselves with your bitter attitude. Its their chosen career and we don't have any say where they choose to work....If they want to move then its their choice so deal with it..
I'm simply disagreeing with Daiswan that's all knackeredjack. I'm not here to argue with any Swans fans. Also I'm confused here with that quote the loyalists one. I never said that at all or anything like it. I was however at Wigan and I know how bad the reception was for Bobby Brown shoes. I pay my money to watch the games and I'm entitled to my opinion as much as the next man. Also why do you think that I think you're insane ? I haven't said anything of the sort. Really confused here
I did forget to ask but are scummers allowed to come on here and have a pop at Swans posters then? That's two posts now having a go at me from some simple twat from the house of horrors. I got no idea who this twat is but he seems to be looking for trouble. Can someone in charge here sort him out because I'm really irresponsible, short fused and I'm likely to sort the bitch out if I have to. Thanks Bovi
My comment about insanity wasn't in response to you. Think you need to read back at earlier posts. It was something Lone had posted. As for posters from other clubs coming here it's an open forum. No offence but if you only want to deal with Swans fans then there are other forums that do that. But why have you got a sort fuse? Calm down - you'll live longer.
I think we are both on the same wavelength for a change fella. Nothing but respect for Roberto myself. Would have taken him at City in a heartbeat.
