Great signing, and at least we don't have to worry about him settling in to the team. It's a sign of how much better we are that we can attract the likes of Huth to join us permanently. Now, let's hope Cambiasso follows!

Good move. I think NP got the best out of him when he came & put some faith in him aswell, some thing Stoke couldn´t do or just couldn´t be arsed to.

Pretty much in his prime now for a centre-back, great news. Exciting times with all the names being bandied around too. Season can't came soon enough.

Think hes the sort of traditional solid defender that Pearson loves to manage. Think we saw last year that Pearson and Huth have a similar vision for defence, which is why he was able to really excel at the back.

In other news, but kind of on topic of mad defenders, Sol Bambas signed for Leeds.

absoluely brilliant signing for you guys, hes our second best defender at our club ,its a massive mistake by Hughes
These sorts of comments show what a good signing he is. We have seen him play exceptionally well for us in a short period but we can now hopefully look forward to at least a couple of good seasons out of him

Sounds like you got a bargain at 3 million - very surprised Pulis didn't come back for him!

... excellent signing for us .. was key to our survival ... playing wise I would think Nigel Pearson sees many aspects to Huth's game that mirror how he was himself as a defender ... always nice to be appreciated and Huth was very popular with the fans, players and indeed the management here during his loan spell - hence I suspect we would have been his 'first choice' even if West Brom had been interested ...
