true, not sure if he played 90 mins at scunthorpe, but if he did i would guess 2 games in 3 days are asking a lot at his age, ..
knows how to mix it and get under the oppisitions skin,always in the refs ear too... i used to get really wound up by players like him years ago, but now i enjoy it in a weird sort of way, theres no point chanting at him, because its like fuel to people like him, he thrives off it..makes me laugh on 606 too..;)
 
He's even posted a twitvid of the incident where he got a yellow. He's complains in the video that the card shouldn't have been given. Looks like he's the same on-field as he is on-air. All mouth!
 
Tbh i like him having a go at the ref if he was in our team, we don't do it enough, we are not 'professional', you seem teams dive all over the place we never do. Teams always argue with the ref we never do, we need someone like him running the show. Just i got shot down when mentioning it yesterday, really don't see why...
 
Erm Barmby and Gerrard dont mind having a go at refs or anyone else for that matter! Im glad we dont dive though, fooks me off no end that, I dont care what it can get you.
