You're trying desperately to sign all our players, and we're the ones with the inferiority complex!!! LOL!
Other than the confirmed bids for Stewart and Koren that we're rejected, there seem to be an awful lot of Foxes on various forums that think you've bid for Chester and Rosenior too. I've no idea if you have, but many of your fellow fans seem pretty convinced, they also seem certain that you'll try again for Chester. Personally, I think the only player you've got a chance with is Koren, but even then I don't think he enjoyed being played out wide all the time under Nigel and he has the offer of an improved deal with us, so that one could easily go either way. The Whitbread signing, if true, probably makes a bid for Chester less likely anyway.
Agree with most of this. Can't remember any bid for Rosenoir being confirmed, not since we signed De Laet that is for sure. We now (assuming Whitbread is a fox) have 3 CB's so I wouldn't say a raid for Chester is out of the question, but yeah it is more unlikely.
I dont think Chester is being considered anymore Harry Maguire and Zak Whitbread are the targets it seems We have Ritchie De Laet so we wont be going in for Rosenior As for Koren at roughly 500K he is a steal and i think we will make a bid. There isnt much Hull can do to stop it As for Stewart i think we already have better players
If we were going for Koren, then surely we would have bid by now? Pearson will have been aware of the clause, he probably had a part in putting it in, and if he wanted to bid I think he would have done.
Koren would certainly be cheap at £500k, if that really is the figure that triggers the clause, but it begs the question, if that is the figure, why didn't Nigel bid it and talk to him, rather than bidding less and having it rejected? Unless Nigel wants to trigger the clause a week before the season starts, which would be a bit twattish, then I can't see why he doesn't trigger it now(that's if he actually wants to sign him, obviously).
The thing I find strange is why hasnt Nigel already activated the clause unless the clause has only recently became valid?
Nige wouldn't do that. 1) Another club could easily come in for him beforehand. 2) Why waste a long time? Surely he'd want to get him in quick so he can get him gelled into the side. 3) As much as you'd hate to admit it. He goes about transfers in the right way.
If Nigel wants Koren he will want him in tommorow if possible. I really dont think Nigel is bothered about disrupting Hull and you lot often make a mountain out of a molehill every time we are linked with your players. Its not Nigels fault we are linked with them Apart from Koren which i said a few weeks ago i cant see us having much chance of signing any Hull players without having the break the bank which Nigel wont do.
I'll be disappointed if they don't put a bid in for Chezzy! It's quite amusing watching this lot sobbing their hearts out! please log in to view this image
I never had any issue with the way Nigel conducted his business when he was with us and I'm sure that he's behaved perfectly admirably with his transfer dealings for you, but he's certainly bid for players from us at a level he knew would never be accepted. However he normally behaves, he's already been slightly twattish with regard to us, making bids you know will be rejected seems rather pointless unless your aim is simply to irritate your ex-employer. It seems there is some ongoing resentment from both sides, I'm not sure it's doing anyone any good, but I won't be at all surprised if carries on for a while yet.
I dont think Nigel is in full control when it comes down the the fees. He will have a say but its more then likely the owners testing the water between the clubs. As regards to Koren bid of 500K when it was rejected Nigel would have known about the clause but probably not the date the clause becomes valid.
I'm pretty sure that Nigel tells the board who he wants and they take it from there. Discussing transfer fees, wages ect. Could be wrong like.
