He was a fantastic forward. I saw him score a hatrick at White Hart Lane when he was just breaking through, almost unplayable.
 
Fowler’s reputation would put in as a front runner for most jobs beneath the championship and maybe some championship clubs. I think he’s doing ok in oz so could be described as an up and coming manager.

He’s left his post in Oz as he wants a job in the UK.
 
He is not unwealthy. He has a good business acumen. He may know other wealthy investors. Who knows. He loves football deep down.
 
Speaking from recent experience, he does work well on a tight budget. Was basically given nothing to work with at Brisbane Roar and made them reasonably competitive, but that being said I just cannot in any way see it being a success if he came here, I really don't think he's of a calibre to make it work. Also not quite sure of his character, refusing to re-join Brisbane after the lockdown claiming he had nothing left to prove after 3/4ers of a season. Maybe better than McCann who goes the other way and refuses to leave!
