They will be there as TEAM players to compliment an existing strike force (that's more than one striker to a Tiger fan!) of ASAMOAH GYAN, CONNER WICKHAM, FRAIZER CAMPBELL and JI DONG-WON and probably DANNY WELBECK on loan.

Must seem an odd concept to a Tigers fan !

Well Welbeck has gone back to Man Utd and has been promised a chance, F.Campbell (as I said earlier) is out for most of next season injured.

Wickham has a 1 in 5 scoring record in the Championship, Dong-won has probably done well in South Korea but will struggle here. That leaves Gyan as your only decent forward with scoring pedigree in the PL!!

And how far into the season will the thick Mackems have to be before they learn how to spell Connor?

Looks like Fraizer will be fit for the second half of the season.

Wouldn't you like him for half a season ?

You're not good with names are you?

    His name is Park Ji-Sung.

I hear you're also in for his team mate Won Fuk-All. <ok>

Sorry for the slip, Korean was never my forte'.

Strange you should be so good with Korean spelling, wasted with the Tigers really.

Whats all this crap about 'stealing' Turner and Campbell, we paid good money for Turner and we didn't even buy Campbell from you, we had the cash as usual, and you didn't (as usual)

You didn't pay good money for turner at all! You pretty much slipped on a balaclava, drove down to the kc in a black van, waited till midnight, drugged and abducted him and then left us with change from your pocket and a note explaining what you've done.

Sunderland sound like the Man Utd knackers yard, we're quite happy down here with the Man Utd kids we signed who have maybe fifteen years football left in them! Gibson is ****e, hope he plays all season and you go down.

Why do so many THICK fans with an anti Sunderland agenda just pick a figure at random and say we have spent that. Obviously 80-100million is an exagerration, but Ihave ready Stoke fans for example saying we have spend 40 million, every year for example.

Its people like this who mistake Bruce for Keane. Whilst Keane would throw simply money at a problem, Bruce actually attempts to raise the funds in order to spend. LIke my fellow Sunderland fan said, before the Wickham signing, he was in a 20million pound profit since taking over.. Which means we are still 8million in profit, and thats only if WIckhams add on fees are activated! 12 million profit if they arent.

We also finished 10th so we cant be as **** as people make out ;)

And the guy who said we have sold our "Best 2 players", whilst I admit Bent was probably our best, Henderson was average at best! A solid performer, but FAR from one of our best players, and as most unbiased observers have pointed out, we have well and truly taken the Scousers to the cleaners on this one.

Truth is, we spend big, but most clubs in the PL do, and have to! The key point here is Keane has left us with this image that other fans, who may not know much about us, trot out every time they have a problem with SAFC, that we spend ****loads and dont sell. Like I said, Bruce has a knack of getting the best deal for our players. Bent was a wantaway, and we made a profit on him, Henderson, well if you were offered 20million by Liverpool for a player you brought through at almost no cost in comparison, who was worth maybe 7million at a push, youd snap their hands off! Youd be mad not to.

Keane had left us with major deadwood on high wages, a few still remain, but Bruce has been 100% better in the transfer market, and his only true flops are the 2 South Americans we signed last year, for a whopping combined total of 2.2million.

Actually, he never played for Reading, he was just at their youth academy for a year when he was 16.
