One win (most likely against west brom) and one draw (from one of the two away games) is the most we can realistically expect as a good set of results.
How is that the most we can realistically expect? Realistically we can expect 9 points, because that's a realistic outcome!

This weekends key games for the bottom clubs :- Crystal Palace v. Chelsea Stoke v. Hull City Manchester Utd v. Aston Villa Swansea v. Norwich West Brom v. Cardiff Fulham v. Everton (sunday) Sunderland v. West Ham(monday night) Easy to see the key games now.
Ideally for me the following: Crystal Palace v. Chelsea - CHELSEA WIN Stoke v. Hull City - CITY WIN OR DRAW. Manchester Utd v. Aston Villa - MAN U WIN Swansea v. Norwich - DRAW West Brom v. Cardiff - DRAW OR WEST BROM WIN Fulham v. Everton (sunday) EVERTON WIN Sunderland v. West Ham(monday night) WEST SPAM WIN.
My Guess...and points after Crystal Palace (28) v. Chelsea (72) - CHELSEA WIN Stoke (40) v. Hull City (33) - STOKE WIN Manchester Utd (54) v. Aston Villa (34) - MAN U WIN Swansea (33) v. Norwich (32) - SWANSEA WIN West Brom (28) v. Cardiff (28) - CARDIFF WIN Fulham (24) v. Everton (60) (sunday) EVERTON WIN Sunderland (28) v. West Ham (34)(monday night) SUNDERLAND WIN. Four teams on 28 points...next five on 32/34....Fulham bottom at 24.
Of all the matches, I really want West Ham to win. If Sunderland Cardiff and Fulham are all still 8pts (or more) behind us after this week's matches we may well only need 1 more point to survive....
Well i want us to try and get 10th place so i hope that west ham only draw and we can grab something @ Stoke. A win @ Stoke would help that situation well. Otherwise i agree with you John. If the bottom 3 all lose and we get a win that that is US out of it imo. But yes you have got it summed up well. No pressure for us.
Would it? A defeat for Sunderland keeps them 8 points behind us. West Ham wont go down, and they are above us already.
Yes it would. A draw is the best result for us. Stoke now have 10th spot sorted after saturday so 11th has to be the aim. We dont want anyone around us getting 3 points. A point for Sunderland makes no difference as that will be the only point they get looking at there upcoming fixtures. Tottenham away monday 7th april Everton home saturday 12th april Manchester City away wednesday 16th april Chelsea away sunday 20th april Then a nice easy one on sunday 27th April @ home to Cardiff City.
With Crystal Palace going to Cardiff on saturday and Fulham going to Villa plus Spurs entertaining Sunderland next monday I dont see us having a problem. Keep calm and enjoy it all.
