lol i'm surprised you don't get your mates on here a beef it up.

Would be nice to have a bit of banter.

Pretty much spot on, Didn't have a clue on Newcastle. Shame we couldn't capitalise.

Struggling to really say who our rivals are so ill just choose those with in 3 points of us which are Arsenal who we play and...

Wednesday 28/10/12

Tottenham v Liverpool
Manchester United v West Ham

Can't see Swansea B getting anything from White Hart Lane sadly and united should do West Ham. Meanwhile, looking up then Chelsea are at home to Fulham.

Mixed bag.

Okay so...

Saturday

12:45 West Ham v Chelsea
15:00 Arsenal v Swansea
15:00 Fulham v Tottenham
15:00 West Brom v Stoke City

West Ham can go above us with a 6-0 win so wouldn't mind Chelsea losing and us going within a point if we get an unlikely win at Eastlands.

Arsenal Didnt look all that tonight and Swansea are building momentum so Swans could take something from that and they're only two points behind us now.

Can see Fulham winning that one.

Stoke are pretty good defensively but would back West Brom at home.

Peaceful Spurs supporter here. Next week is my favourite fixture of the season,Everton v Spurs or Spurs v Everton. It's long been a bloody good fixture with good footie played and this season we are very close to each other. I can't wait. Cheers Evertonians.

don't think they're particularly great spectacles myself but its a big game for sure, especially at this point. If we win then we go above you on goal difference I think so very important. Do you Bale will be fit?

okay, so a lot of teams within three points, above we're looking at Chelsea, West Brom and Spurs (who we face). we need a three goal swing to go above Chelsea.

Saturday

15:00 Arsenal v West Brom
15:00 Sunderland v Chelsea

Looking behind us there are Swansea on level points, Stoke and West Ham a point behind and Arsenal two points behind who are listed above.

Saturday

15:00 Aston Villa v Stoke
15:00 Swansea v Norwich

Sunday

16:00 West Ham v Liverpool

Arsenal v West Brom - Draw
Sunderland v Chelsea - Chelsea
Villa v Stoke - Villa
Swansea v Norwich - Draw
West Ham v Liverpool - West Ham

No Bale, so that's a real positive for us, Spurs have been going well but AVB is a massive tool, so it won't be long until he de-rails them

Notoriously difficult fixture made harder by Spurs rich vein of form.
We managed to nick it 1-0 last season, but Spurs battered us from pillar to post in that second half.

Glad Bale is out,but it could go either way. Im going for a sneaky 1-0 to us with a late winner.

There was a time when I would have agreed with you, but he does seem to be bringing some balance to the squad.

Against Fulham, when Bale went off injured, we continued to look a threat. The idea that without Bale we are not capable of finishing top 4 is a myth, as we have a very strong squad of players, and probably the best English striker in the EPL, on current form. This is a 6-pointer for a top 4 finish, although I am banking on us wanting to clinch 3rd spot, and therefore having the greater incentive to win.

16 days is a long time in football.

16 days ago, he was a clown. Don't recall "demanding he be sacked" though. I must have missed that bit when I wrote it.

16 days later, he's a god and he can do nothing, at all, wrong.

It's a roller-coaster ride, that's why I love the sport. if I wanted something less stressful I'd follow chess.

I've hit that age .... mid 40's... where the years fly past so 16 days feels like a second or two ago in my world <laugh>

Bale is your best player, so without him you're much weaker. He beat the shiite single handed, so I'm delighted he'll be missing.

We've not lost at home for nearly a year, so if you left with a point it'd be a good result.

Looking forward to the game, it's usually a great fixture.

Yes, I agree that with Modric, Van der Vaart and King now gone, Bale is Tottenham's best player (dare I say "World Class"?) but as was pointed-out before, Spurs we still able go go to Fulham and pull-off an impressive win with a fairly subdued contribution from the Welshman.

Tottenham are a long way off from being a one-man team and when Bale isn't playing we've still got some very good players who can step-in and replace him.

There are five different Spurs players who have 5 or more goals & assists so far during the 2012-13 Premier League season (Everton have two), which underlines the strength in depth the squad has...

I never said you were a one man team, but merely pointed out the fact that Bale is a key player for you & him being out is a major boost for us.

If we have Mirallas back that could prove to be key imo, together with how you cope with Fellaini.
