The top at Christmas trophy and the most posts and cross bars hit trophy, to name but two.

And they were in consecutive seasons!!!

Interesting results today:

Newcastle now have to win to be sure of safety. Otherwise they rely on other results.
Hull has to beat United to have any chance otherwise they are relegated.
Sunderland must get a point to be absolutely safe. Against arsenal and Chelsea.

Another incentive for United to beat arsenal tomorrow. Beat them well, Sunderland getting a draw and It is all down to the last match. Arsenal very strong favourites but it could be down to nerves.

On BBC v Palace.

Former Liverpool midfielder Jimmy Case on BBC Radio Merseyside:
"Adam Lallana twists and turns. When he's in that kind of form, he can take on anyone and cause them real problems."

Bloody hell hes not that good.

Phil McNulty

BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

"Anfield is suddenly eerily subdued after that thunderous and emotional reception for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard before kick-off, which he shared with his children and after a guard of honour from Crystal Palace's players. Anfield is now waiting for a Gerrard "moment" - and history suggests he will deliver."

What like slipping over, getting sent off or a dodgy backpass. :emoticon-0110-tongu

What a poor performance from the king of the Kop, Liverpools God has failed on his own turf.

Another win for the Palace of the kings of fail <laugh>

Champions league football for UTD next season*

*subject to play off win

Title won, playing against a team that isnt involved in the battle for relegation or European places...but still Mourinho can't bring himself to start with more than one of Chelsea's youth players. The man has no belief or interest in bringing players through the ranks. Great manager but clearly doesn't trust his ability to develop players.

So which club has Sterling done a deal with? I initially thought City as they'll pay him loads and they need more English players. However, it's been pointed out that he wants to move back to London so maybe Arsenal? He's small enough to play for Wenger and he can never have too many small, fast attacking players. Chelsea? Surely not as the lad doesn't track back enough to play for Jose and they have Cuadrado.

Bayern have confirmed they've spoken to his agent. Dont understand why Bayern simply dont go for Bale.
