When did this EVER happen?

Answer - never. Nor will it ever. You're talking about Arsenal FFS.

Yep. We might as well book our Wembley tickets. Wenger has got a mental block against united. I cannot see Arsenal ever taking us apart. There will be lots of Arsenal passes and they'll fall to a DM led counterattack. Bring it on.

I dunno, everyone thought City would hammer them at the Etihad and they pulled it out the bag for once.
Course they went the next week and got owned by the Spuds but still....who hasn't done that this season <whistle>

With respect, we're not Man City.

We have a very decent record over many years of direct competition with Arsenal, one City are some way off ever getting close to.

To be fair though, City are a good side and current champions where as you guys are getting results but struggling performance wise. United/Arsenal is flip of a coin for me.

Even so, it's at home and they very, very rarely come away with anything other than a loss, let alone 'rip us to ****ing pieces', as was suggested.

It's Arsenal. They'll be **** scared of us. They always are.

That shows how far United has fallen :bandit:

Getting results but struggling performance... Eyes of the beholder mate. Just appreciate the 20-30 minutes of exhilarating world class football in the match and ignore the first hour. I do.

Quite right to be too. LVG could pull that rabbit out of the bag in that match, who knows? If that happens they could get a real hiding.

As long as he replaces the rabbit with Falcao, and seals the bag tightly before locking it in a cupboard for the duration of the match, we'll be fine <ok>

I honestly think we've all got LVG wrong. He plays Falcao and his plodding system in the first hour to lull his opposition into a false sense of security. Then out of the blue he changes his system to an all attcking 4-4-2 formation. By the time the other team realises that it is too late. It's all part of a cunning plan <whistle>

Is he Baldrick?

How dare you call him bald when he has a lovely quiff <grr>

By the way, you answered Chris not Rick <ok>

I can't believe it took me a few seconds to work that out <laugh>

LVG....(if only I could be arsed to change blackadder's face to Giggs)

PSG 1 - 1 Chelsea. The difference between De Gea and Courtois is that Courtois looks like a gangly clueless gormless twat when he concedes while De Gea just looks like he wants to kill someone.

PSG have more skill, flair, speed and better players. Other than that it`s quite evenly matched <whistle>

<laugh>

I really thought this would be straight forward for Chelsea bcos PSG seem to flatter to deceive when it comes to the CL. But this Chelsea defence looks more suspect than ours at time. A lucky block and a few last ditch interceptions are all that have kept Chelsea in the tie. I would fancy PSG to score a couple here or at Stamford Bridge tbh.

Other than a few glimpses of intricate play from PSG in the second half, this has lacked any real desire or impetus :emoticon-0149-no:
