I said in Pre-season Utd would struggle if they kept playing their first team for most of the games and with 10 injuries I think I was proven right. That incidentally gave you false confidence that you had turned a corner whereas the other teams just treated it as a run out.

If in anyway your lack of signings is due to that pre-season performance than you really need to find where the problem is. LVG stated he didn't think the team was good enough so I don't think its him although he maybe targeting unrealistic players, that leaves Woodward or the GG! One is easily solvable the other could prove to be a bigger issue.

This kills your argument, take a look who never even went on tour.

Tour 2014 squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Amos, Johnstone, Rafael, Evans, Smalling, Jones, Shaw, Blackett, M Keane, James, Herrera, Cleverley, Fletcher, Young, Zaha, Kagawa, Mata, Valencia, Nani, Lingard, Welbeck, Rooney, W Keane

So whos missing Carrick and VP! oh and Anderson lol. you were right argument killed!!!

Chelsea were excellent in the first half. Fabregas's pass for Schurrle's goal was sublime. Their squad looks very strong this season. Although he scored I thought Costa was relatively poor. He's certainly no Drogba.

Chelsea looking good...

Against newly promoted, barely spent a penny burnley ffs. If burnley get into double figures they will have an open top bus parade ffs.

Can we stop with it all seeing as its just one ****ing game lol.

So everyone has to wait 10 games or so before passing any sort of comment? Would be pretty boring boards if that's the case. Dissecting the miniscule is what gets us Football fans through to the next game.

So.....as it stands Chelsea or City will win the league and United are going down with Burnley. Then we re-evaluate after the next round of fixtures ;)

Funny thing is, if United had hammered Swansea 6-0, UiR would be the first on here heaping praise to LvG and their team.
Nothing wrong with giving a nod of approval to a good performance UiR.
Of course Robbie Savage took it too far when he said "We are looking at the Champions play here" Good grief man!! Get a grip.

If you want to review the league every game and celebrate it then you go be a liverpool fan.

Anyone taking anything from one game should be ignored.

The only thing people are taking from the game is that Chelsea played well and won the match.

If you dont want to talk about football matches why are you here?
I expect not to see you or hear from you until the end of the season, when you will give your full season review in one post, and not on a match by match basis

Im pretty sure we were all taking the pisd out of liverpool for getting carried away aftet a few months...

Who the **** is getting carried away? Except Robbie Savage, but he is a bell end.

Open your eyes.

Weve all played one game and so far united are ****ed, chelsea are amazing, liverpool and arsenal have that winning mentality and the top 4 has already been decided.
