I don't think he'll be sacked this season, regardless of what happens. I think he's a decent manager, I'm not convinced though that he's a top manager. He reminds me a little of Arsene Wenger, in that his side always plays good football, but he's not very tactically aware.
It just goes to show that City are over reliant on having Toure and Fernadinho fit every game, as if ones injured they have no one else who can step in, and do a job. I think they will need to strengthen in that area in the summer![]()

Was that painful for you to type?
P.S. We've got nothing in the bag, results last night showed how hard beating teams at the tail end of the season can be. Although saying that it could work in our favour as any of the teams that NEED 3 points will have to come out and attack - which will suit our game perfectly![]()

Yes very painful. I don't think Mourinho will do that, as he knows he only needs to win 1-0, and 90 minutes is along time. I'd imagine he'll keep things tight hoping to nick a goal on the break, but if the games still level after about 60-70 minutes he will no doubt throw a few strikers on, and take a few risks then. This will involve hoofing long ball after long ball up to Demba Ba, and the rest trying to get on the end of one of his knockdowns. If you watched the PSG game, that is exactly what they did in the end, and JT said in his interview afterwards, that they had practiced the long ball all week incase they needed something late on. So expect to see those tactics again, as they had success with them in the PSG game![]()
You an arm chair supporter telling us all City's manager, a professional who's had his whole career in the game, is not tactically aware![]()

Football tactics aren't rocket science, you don't have to go to university and get a degree to be a football manager. Most fans who watch a lot of football, understand tactics, and can have an opinion on them. I just think he's been found out a few times this season in big games. He played a 442 against Bayern for example, thinking Toure and Fernandinho could cope with Lahm, Kroos and Shweinstieger. And I even posted before the game that those tactics against Bayern where ridiculous as you'd never get the ball off him. Also playing Demichelis in midfield against Chelsea was a fairly ridiculous decision![]()
Proves you don't actually know anything.
Every armchair fan think it's not rocket science and often blab about things being tactically wrong, only after the game is in play or after the game, always judging how someone got it wrong, after they lost.
CM is not real btw
tactics in football are more intricate then you know, and vary depending on where the balls is on the pitch who has possession what players are playing, who they are playing against and many other things that change from game to game and are even altered as your own or opposing payers get injured ect ect
Trying to simplify it is so full of fail. Why do you think managers are constantly giving out instructions as the game develops. Maybe play as a pro, do your coaching badges and then tell us it is not rocket science.
