Quite ironic he's banding league form around when Chelsea didn't beat a single league champion in Europe last season. We were **** in Europe last season, but still managed to beat the Dutch champions.

Just goes to show that Chelsea can't beat good teams in Europe <ok>

That's the common demoninator. By Chavminor's reasoning it makes the 2012 CL the least credible in history. I'm grateful to him for bringing it to our attention.

I may be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure 2012 was only the second time in history the CL has been won by a club that didn't quality as champions of their respective league and didn't win the league in the season they won the CL.

And we all know what the first time was...

Arsenal were Dire today, Spurs should have had 4 or 5 but Bale and Sigurdson missed open goal/ 1 on 1, Adebayor, Parker and Ramsey were the worst players on the pitch

you forget arsenal back 4 .. that was a shambolic defensive performance .. not able to do simple offside trap .. not only for the 2 goals but other balls

in another note.. happy to see the smile on AVB face after a horrible start last season .. may be he is a very good manager after all .. and porto's good spell wasn't bcz he was a one trick pony
