At least part time qualifiers like Liverpoo and Spuds had a go at getting through group stages. The premier league is weak this year and I see no reason why we wont piss it this year. City looking poor in the first half Swansea could have been 1-0 from Michu.
 
Tevez just scored a great goal, city to. be fair have been a lot better second half. ****ers.
 
Will anyone else get anything at the Etihad this season in the league apart from Arsenal, with us I think we will have more chances there than in recent years might get a point but obviously fancy our chances more in the reverse fixture at OT.
 
Swansea 1-1 Chelsea!. City need to win big to stop us from topping the league on merit rather than games in hand.

Great result for us that not sure Chelsea will be up there all the way to the end to be honest though. I think next year there team will be better.

I said in pre season I see it being between us and City again.

Nothing ive seen of Chelsea so far has made me change my mind.
 
Chelsea were poor today. The injury Mata picked up in the midweek cup game cost them as they missed his creativity today. The lack of quality in their squad beyond the first choice players was evident both today and midweek when they had to bring on the big guns to edge past our reserve team. They won't be challenging for the title this season.
 
I really don't know how any Liverpool fans can think they have a decent side. They are absolutely ****ing awful.
 
Which of the 3 other English teams do you guys think will not qualify from their CL groups?

City have very little chance of qualifying obviously, but Chelsea and Arsenal?

I think they'll both come second in their groups, hope Chelsea come third though! I think City will get third as well...

I'm confident Arsenal will make it out of the group, they also do well in Europe. City are out, but they'll finish third. Chelsea I think will sneak second.
