I wonder how the Chavs might survive the loss of Hazard to Real Madrid. He seems crucial to the way they play, his goal tally and, more importantly, his assists stats are phenomenal. Would he be the one player who, if they lost him, would cause their side to unravel. Add to that mix the rumours that RM might also want Courtois or, alternatively, that AM might want Costa back should they lose Greizman ion the summer..........................it could all go pear-shape for the Chavs

Isn't that their modus operandi for alternate seasons nowadays?

Should we start the sweepstake now for how much of next season Conte will last? I reckon he stands a decent chance of getting to December.

its fine we will just replace him with rashford and martial since mourinho will just buy the next superstar like griezman. likewise i think de gea is far more likely to go as real love him every year. then you will be relying on smalling rojo and romero in defence (bailly and jones with the standard injuries)

So, the last of the weekend fixtures leaves the table looking like this. We stay 6 points behind the RS (with 2 games in hand) and 5 points behind City with a game in hand also. Still a slim chance of 4th spot.

Well done Rodgers for winning at least a trophy and undefeated too. The RS must regret sacking a winner. He could still bring some stardust to the RS and will be an improvement on their current kloppyflop who hasn't managed to get any trophy so far. <laugh>
