It was worse this season. Sky, the BBC, and the red tops had all but awarded City the PL title before a ball was even kicked.
Most were billing this season as a straight up two horse race between United and City, they were all caught up in the Pep vs Jose romance.

Even after the ****ty start to the season United had, they are still only 2 points behind City. <laugh>
Always said Pep is overrated as a manager. He will win things at City eventually, purely because they have a never ending supply of money and he can just keep nonchalantly spending cash until he gets it right, thats not the sign of a good manager, thats all the skills of a kid playing Championship manager on his Xbox.

I know Jose has had money over the years at Chelsea and Real. But he had, comparatively speaking, **** all at Porto when he won the CL, and even his Inter team that won the treble had no where near the level of resources as Barca or Bayern. Plus we have seen what Jose can do to turn games around, at Chelsea especially during first tenure, even if we went in at HT 1-0 down, I fancied he would change something tactically so we could get something out of the game.

Conte as well, I know he inherited a squad that had won the PL the season before last, but when he realised things werent working with the personnel and the tactics, he changed it up and we went on a 13 match winning streak. I just don't see that type of dynamism and tactical nous from Pep and never have.

Pep was successful because the two teams he has managed prior to City, were the best teams in the world when he arrived. I mean, that Barca team he had with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta......how could anyone fail with those players? And La Liga is piss weak in terms of competition, always has been. Barca, Real and occassionally Atletico, thats it. Bundesliga? Bayern have a ridiculous advantage over everyone else! Look at how competitive the PL is this season! Its awesome.

He has never faced any adversity in his career. Never managed a middling side or faced with no money to buy the best players. He went straight into managing the best team in the world and was proclaimed as best manager in the world. Big difference. The emperor has no clothes. Wonder who will be first and brave enough in the media to shout it out.

On the title and CL challenge

The competitiveness is among the top 6 and among the rest. Rarely do we have a middle or bottom side giving a top 6 side a game even at home. Yes, anyone can beat anyone else but within their mini leagues. That is where the deluded RS will fall. They may be top of the top6 mini league because the top teams play an open game especially at home and attack. But the rest of teams are starting to learn that attacking them means they will be vulnerable to their hi energy game. So these smaller teams will defend for 90 minutes if they want to get anything from the game. Of all the top teams the RS are the most vulnerable to dropping points against the minnows. They are deluded if they think they will challenge for the title. They have the hardest run in (for them!) as they face teams who will put 10 defenders behind the ball. I won't be surprised if [HASHTAG]#kloppyflop[/HASHTAG] finished outside the CL places as his running but talentless players get found out..<laugh>

And ...Chelsea are the most ruthless in putting minnows to the sword.

[HASHTAG]#kloppyflop[/HASHTAG] may have a good lucky mini league record against the top 6 but his record against the other 14 teams is the worst. <ok>

So [HASHTAG]#disappointment[/HASHTAG] is again waiting for the deluded RS under fraud [HASHTAG]#kloppyflop[/HASHTAG]

His long ball high pressing game does not work on teams who just sit back and defend. <laugh>

That sets us up nicely to draw at Stoke.
You jinxed us didn't you? <whistle>

Klopp was critical of JM for playing long ball. How many long balls did he launch against Swansea? #RS have been so certain about their title challenge this season. But it is looking like their form is so uncertain that the RS and United could be swapping places by the end of May. <whistle>

[HASHTAG]#kloppyflop[/HASHTAG] simple high pressing "lots of running" game is being slowly found out. Without a fast striker like Mane, they have little penetration despite having 70% possession and are reduced to play a lot in front of the opposition. Swansea played the perfect game. They had the courage to test that awful defence and each time they gave way.

That is why those who say that they have the easiest run in May are wrong, they have the toughest (for them!) because they play the lower teams who will (hopefully) mass their defence leaving [HASHTAG]#kloppyflop[/HASHTAG] high energy pressing game totally ineffective.

Not so much a jinx as a cynical forecast of what would happen.

Did anyone really think we'd go on and win after Liverpool had lost? I didn't.
