Well the messiah has FLOPPED and his name is well deserved. Having lucked their way to the final by a series of shoot outs it is natural justice that they are dumped by one. Having said that, their ex-hero should have made the result certain in normal time and City was denied a barn door penalty.
Kloppyflop laughed as if he had already won the final at the end of ET so confident was he. He has been infected with that same affliction, which the RS suffer from: premature celebration...
Astro is hurting after that defeat. He doesn't even seem to have the energy to be his usual snide self. No doubt it was made worse by watching a group of United U21s turning certain defeat into a victory against Arsenal.

And the same U21 side will dump the RS out of their remaining trophy chance. How they "celebrated" when they found that they were playing United. Not so cocky now are they ? (if they were at all!).

Wonder whether Rashford could play at the top with Martial (when he's fit) on the left? More likely LVG will probably put Martial instead of Rashford. And keep the midfield as is.

Nope, keep Memphis on the left he is just starting to show some confidence. Martial through the middle with Rashford on the right (he is a winger by preference) and see how the three of them do. Bit hard on Lingard but he would still get 30 mins most games.
Did anyone see the Dipper teamtalk prior to the penalties against City? Klopp was doing his heavy metal management and finished with a proper roar. Most of the players in the huddle, noticeably Can, got really worked up. It was all very American. Benteke laughed.

Although that's more down to City. Sacking Pellegrini midway through the season has turned out to be a massive error. City won't win the league now, so why would he give two ****s about their league position?
The remainder of his season is now CL or bust, and by the time they are knocked out of the CL they may well be out of the top four with no hope of getting back in.
