Milner should have easily had 2 (if not a third) yellows and been sent off. Pretty sure Spurs would have won with the further chances they would have created. So Liverpool will feel relieved. Mignolet man of the match. Harry Kane really is suffering those 2nd season blues. Had a couple of chances to win the game.
It does show the size of the challenge facing Norbert. And also the size of the ****up Rodgers made. I honestly can't remember a time when only one Liverpool player (Coutinho) would be good enough to be in the Spurs starting line up. To be fair, Klopp has a good record and achieved a lot at Dortmund, but he had nowhere near the same level of mediocrity in his squad there, so this is going to be a real challenge for him.
True, but then that toughness can create opportunities as well - hard to think of Bayern ever having as bad as season as Chelsea are having now, or as us in 2013/14. Always gives hope of success when teams can see the title winners, or any top club for that matter, fall down the league making space at the top. I think he'll have the opportunities to get top four and win some trophies, but then Liverpool are in no better situation that three or four other clubs who will have the same opportunities, and quite a bit worse than some.
Bayern Munichs fans so called protest over Arsenals ticket prices has to be one of the dumbest protests I've seen. Let's still pay the money, but take our seat 5 mins late The only way to effectively protest against something like that, would obviously be to not buy the tickets in the first place
Its making a point, they are still following their team. I understand it but Arsenal won't listen, they will be more expensive next year.
Not gonna bother Arsenal though is it? Still paying the money and giving their own side 5 mins less support. Makes no sense at all
Don't worry, Bayern let us put 2 past them and your no Bayern Munich (Putting 3-0 past Watford didn't have quite the same impact, so let's just go ahead and pretend I didn't already have a dig in this thread using basically the same comment but using Watford.)
