I was so severely wounded by his rapier wit in calling me Matth I haven't been able to visit this thread since!!!

He really owned me there boys.

Phil Thompson told Sky Sports: “Edinson Cavani, Ezequiel Lavezzi , Gonzalo Higuain and Jackson Martinez would all fit the bill and provide better cover for Daniel Sturridge, who is having his injury problems."

Cover?

Deluded Dipper.

Just occured to me both Toure brothers could be leaving these shores in the summer. Every cloud....

I watched the second half. Liverpool were terrible. No system, no leadership, no passion. They're in a proper mess.

Their specialist strikers (Daniel Sturridge, Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini) have scored eight Premier League goals between them this season. Everton's back four (Leighton Baines, Seamus Coleman, Phil Jagielka and John Stones) have scored nine.

Ouch!!

Plenty Pool fans see this as an excuse; "but we lost Suarez", while missing the glaringly obvious that the halfwit manager failed to do his job in replacing him.

The penny seems to be starting to drop now though.

And we're still 14 points ahead of them.

Ouch!!!!

Lambert's pissed away a year of his career. Rodgers has never given the guy a chance so can't have ever rated him.

Astro was insistent at the start of the season that Liverpool's strike force was second only to City's. His cluelessness is endearing.
