Was taking the piss you daft get. Added to that I was drunk and had eaten my own body weight in pulled beef.
Current odds Chelsea: 1/20 City: 3/1 United: 8/1 RS: 20/1 Too early as I said before to give the chavs the trophy but no doubt they are hot favorites. The RS last season had the sewer rat to come back and when he did he drove his team to unforeseen wins. Now they are seriously weakened and can only slide from now on. United can only improve (unless they have not reached the bottom yet).
Given we've yet to play United, Arsenal, City, Liverpool or Spurs I'd be amazed if those odds are correct. We've started well, nothing more. It's only 4 games FFS!
That's ****ing stupid. We are nowhere near nailed on that much to have odds like that. I'd agree we are favourites because of the start we have had and Costa looking a beast so far, but again, 4 games in. Plus we have City and Arsenal coming up soon, we may drop points.....HAHA Who am I kidding, we wont drop points to Arsenal, they are ****. City though, they will give us a game.
He's trolling you with those odds. Chelsea are currently between 4/6 and 5/6 to win the league. Still very short odds after four games, and given how reliant you are on Costa. Probably more a sign of some punters and Chelsea fans getting overconfident and throwing money at the team thus pushing the odds down at a time when people who might back the other teams are waiting and seeing.
He's started brilliantly but we've yet to see how the other 2 strikers will fare if needed (didn't take Remy long to grab a goal) so perhaps a little early to start the one man team thing; especially with how brilliant Fabregas has also been.
Putting words in my mouth again? I didn't say you were a one man team, I said you were very reliant on Costa. 11 league goals of which he has scored seven does indicate that if he gets a serious injury then Chelsea will have less of an attacking threat. How big the impact on your fortunes is up for debate, but you can't deny that an injury or loss of form from Costa would be a problem for your current style of play.
Fixed. It would certainly mean we need to change things, who knows what would happen. Remy and Drogba are certainly good back up though.
No they haven't. Our odds before the season started were around 6/1, now they are 8/1. If anything, our current odds are more realistic - the pre season odds were too low due to all the hype about LVG and our friendly performances.
