RAWK will not be happy with their loss to Villa

Villa dominated the game, and made the Deludapool defence suffer

Good result. In fact two good results. Our players should really be up for it tomorrow. We need to really put on a performance with convincing win to make the other 3 sit up a bit and maybe even begin to put some pressure on them.

Great result for the RS <laugh> Brenda said that he will do better than last season. Well on course for the title then. <laugh>

Lallana was useless and on course to prove to be a total waste of money. We all said Brenda buying mid priced players to replace the sewer rat was a stupid strategy. No cutting edge. Totally toothless.

Looks like Sturridge and Sterling are going to be vital for Liverpool. What Suarez masked last season was their poor defence. They will now need them two to outscore the goals they're giving away.

BTW how much coaching did Keane give for the "physical man marking" on Balotelli today <ok>

There is another bonus with Villa's win. Tonight will be a dipper free evening on the United board

The sewer rat masked sooo many of the RS s weaknesses. First their poor defence was so many tines rescued by their attack. The rat was also an outlet for Stevie me's long balls. He made him look good too. A mediocre midfield was also masked. Sturridge and sterling looked better with the sewer rat because he would take defenders with him, leaving space for these 2 to exploit. Now their lack of quality is clear.

They really were toothless. Rodgers spent a lot of money on a lot of average players. Having lost Suarez the money would have been better spent on a top class striker and a couple more players. Very poor management.

Everyone (including nearly all rival fans) have gone on about how much we needed to buy CB's and FB's. I would say Liverpool needed to just as much as we did. And without Suarez to compensate for the amount they let in last season, I think the defence was the greater priority. I remember arguing the point on the Liverpool board last season that a string of 1-0's are better than 4-3 or 6-3 results in the long term.

Furthermore I think the sewer rat made Brenda look good too. Brenda didn't have to think too much about formations or tactics. Just put out the best attacking formation with the sewer rat. And against most teams he will rescue them.

Now Brenda has to earn his corn. Buying the right players and putting out the right players and the right formations.

So far he has failed. I cannot see the RS coming any where near the top 4. <ok>

Not really surprised. I did say a while ago that Brenda "invested" the money from sewer rat on several players averaging 10-12 mill apiece. Paying that price gets you very average players, who will not get you anywhere in the prem, let alone the CL.

Brenda got lucky last year, but I wonder how long the patience of the yanks will hold when the reality of those signings become clear as a rather excessive combined waste of money.

    And long may it continue!

So far the RS are repeating exactly what spurs did and with the same results. Selling bale/sewer rat and buying lots of players as replacements. All average and useless <ok>

I think it's a bit early to judge. Lallana will be a decent player. Balotelli has a bit of class when he can be bothered. Their issue was to build a better squad to cope with additional football. Lambert is a decent player too.

Too early for me to start saying they're ****e. Plus we still need to get win.

Simple mathematics Christian, pay peanuts get monkeys.

Its glaringly obvious to everyone in the game except Brenda and the dippers, but if you want quality players, you have to pay quality money.

Brenda & the dippers, sounds like a good name for a 60's motown band

It was definitely done to add depth to the squad now they're in the CL. Maybe they needed a couple of marquee signings (one in defence and one in attack) instead of buying too many squad players? Balotelli is supposed to be the guy who now adds a little something to replace Suarez. I actually also think that Sturridge's performances will depend a lot on Balotelli and Lallana (rather than Sterling alone).

Balotelli is ****ing awful in roughly 3 out of 4 games. Like properly ****ing awful, you wouldn't even know he's on the pitch. Everyone knows that, except Brendan it seems. Still, occasionally he's blinding in that 1 in 4 game.
