Extra games - gives you more minutes to all squad players - making them better. Giving them more confidence, increasing healthy competition in your squad.
But if you goof up your extra games that is your fault.

But every team has a strongest 11 or so. Constantly changing things disrupts fluidity. If you're in a position where you can always play your best players, you're at an advantage.

it is not like you play same 11 players for every game. You need to give a run out for Jansen et al who are on the fringes.
I would love to give Michy game time like that through the extra games.
Also - you have the youngest squad of the league. I don't buy the fatigue factor with that.

Same Watford - shipped 6 away at Pool.
Same Pool - against whom you defined the Definition of Luck at 3 pt lane - robbing a draw.

No, it's not, you're right. But you have more opportunity to play your strongest 11 who are performing, because you haven't got to think of another game that's 3 days away.
Are you really saying that, for example, Liverpool who clearly have 3 on form players in Mane, Firmino and Coutinho would be just as strong if they had to swap and change them in and out of the team?

I think Stan was a Woolwich fan who couldn't tell north London from West London and said "Oh crap,I'll stay here they may not notice me".
