Well done Celtic that's a brilliant result considering their last CL game.

My son-in-law will be delighted.

I've sat through Atletico Madrid v Bayern and I've got to say it......if I was a Madrid person I would without a doubt be a Real fan.
I prefer a team who goes out to win rather than one who goes out not to lose!
Atletico are chasers that's true but to watch the two lines of 4 as soon as the other team gets the ball.
I don't know,I guess I'm living in the past.I just hate it!

Rodgers says a draw with City shows how far the club have come since his arrival.

That pretty much guarantees Monchengladbach put four past them, doesn't it?

To go in the CL from 0-7 against Barca to 3-3 against Citeh in a matter of days is quite
frankly almost messianic. Fortunately Brenton is such a humble man that he will not
hear of his impact being spoken of in such terms.

Inter Milan have fallen such a long way in European terms since we met them in the CL, as champions, 6 years ago. They are bottom of their group and losing 3-1 at Sparta Prague having lost to Haopel Be'er Sheva last time out in the EL. When you start losing to sides that you have never heard of before and whose name you can't pronounce, it's time to worry.

They're currently third in Serie A, but their squad is badly imbalanced , similar to ours in the wake of the Baldini Splurge. Trying to fit Icardi, Jovetic, Peresic, Brozovic, Banega, Kondogbia, Medel and Candreva into a 4231 formation simply isn't possible - even if De Boer has managed to fall out with Brozovic within six weeks of taking charge.

Schalke got a good 3-1 win over Red Bull Salzburg, and it seems to stem from common sense: starting with Goretzka and Bentaleb in the pivot, and leaving Baba Rahman on the bench until the game was safe.

Astra Giurgiu, the scourge of the Spammers, are sitting bottom of their group having lost both games. Shame for the Spammers really, they could have done that.
