RONALDO AT WEMBLEY TOMORROW
Yes, Ronaldo, a magnificent Hereford bull will be at Wembley as mascot for the newly formed Hereford FC in the FA Vase Final against Morpeth Town.
In 2014, due to a 'not fit for purpose' owner the club was brought to financial ruin and put into liquidation. The ground had been allowed to fall into a state of disrepair.
Thanks to a wonderful supporters club and 4 benefactors the ground became ship shape and ready for action. The hard work was done by volunteers. They registered to play in the Midlands football league. Not only have they won this league and gained promotion to the Southern league Division 1 South & West but reached the FA Vase cup final and won the Hereford County Cup. So well done Hereford FC,( formerly United) in your first season back and well done to the fantastic supporters who raised so much money and done so much physical work in the stadium. You deserve your day at Wembley. Good Luck Bulls!

I must have missed Ronaldo.

To all of you who have had a good laugh and some very clever puns at Ronaldo's expense I would just like to point out once again that Hereford rose phoenix like from the ashes and in the first season won their league, won the league cup, won the Hereford County cup and reached the Vase final. So three out of four ain't bad!
Wish my No.1 club could do something similar. Love your sense of humour lads, made me smile. COYS.

This is for you Alli if you can open it. (I can't). It's a picture of Ronaldo at Wembley copied & pasted from the net.

Can't see anything unfortunately. I'll google it. I'm sure there are plenty of images knocking about.

As for Hereford, I went to Slough Town back in Oct 14 to see them play Hereford. Slough won 2-0 rather comfortably only for the three points to be taken away because Hereford were expelled from the league.<doh>

Still, despite it being a Tuesday evening fixture, Hereford brought a decent support and I'm glad they've grabbed the league by the horns this season. Looks like they'll be back to where they belong in no time. <applause>

3 managers in the Premier League won trophies this season: Ranieri, van Gaal and Pellegrini.
Should the remaining one be nervous?
