A good weekend for those concerns. Citeh have now picked up 4 points out of the last 18 available and are in complete meltdown. Whatever performances they have left are going into the CL but even if they can beat PSG (why even bother saying it?), there's the other slight obstacles of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Pep's Bayern to consider. I don't think they'll make the top 4 in the same way they didn't in 2009/10.
The 2 United's are in better form but are a point further back, they have the cup replay to fit in and also have to play each other in the league. Man United have to play us and Leicester. The Spammers have Arsenal and Leicester.
We have nothing to fear but fear itself and Mauricio Pochettino doesn't entertain fear.
Sure we were all saying similar about Chelsky nearly 4 yrs ago.
While there are PL teams in both the CL and EL, then Spurs must finish at least 3rd.
If anything I am glad the PL is still possible, as the push for that should remove all
complacency and ensure Spurs do the above by default.
Talking of Chelsea, can anyone see them making even a token effort last day of the season if we're still in with a sniff ? I've got that one down as 3 points in the bag for the Foxes tbh.

I just don't see choking like that in this manager or team. This team believes it's going to win things in the coming years. Why wouldn't they? They are bloody good and going to get better. Their manager is committed to them and our club. We have Kane, Alli, Dembele, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Hugo, Wimmer, Eriksen, etc, etc. On top of that we have Pochettino, the best manager in the league. This is our time,
Their fans will be desperate to lose that game if it prevents us winning the title, not sure if their players would feel the same.

Trying to be optimistic looking at Leicesters' fixtures, I can only see the Swansea game giving them 3 points on a plate, the rest we can realistically hope they will drop points in but on the other hand our remaining fixtures aren't great, we've never beaten Chelsea away in the PL and we haven't beaten Man Utd at home since 2001 also probably our easiest fixture on paper looks to be West Brom and we've only beaten them once at home since 2009!

I think we need Southampton to do us a big favour next time out whilst we demolish the mousers, that should be enough to put a bit of doubt into their minds. We need to be level on points with them after the second to last game of the season and then win our last match.
I think they have a marginally kinder fixture list.
Both teams have got to play Chelsea, Manure and Saints which are the big games.
We play Liverpool while they have West Ham - roughly equivalent this season, though Mousers tougher on paper.
We play Newcastle while they have Sunderland - both fighting relegation, though Rafa might give the Toon an extra spark (and we have a crap record vs them).
So 5 of the games are more or less even with perhaps a slight upper hand for them. Where I think their real advantage is the two teams left over:
We have Stoke & West Brom, they have Everton & Swansea. Everton and Swansea are clubs who like to play an attacking game but both are having woeful seasons and are there for the taking. Stoke and West Brom are the opposite, play boring football, the type we struggle against, and are having good seasons for it.
We need to at the very least maintain the 5 point gap after our next 2 games because after that I would deem our run in favourable to theirs.
Everton have been poor but incredibly they've only lost once away, I have that down as 1 of Leicester's must drop points games.
Most of our best performances this season have come against teams who look to attack and play football. Bournemouth, City, Arsenal(to an extent), Southampton. We've handed out a few arse kickings to sides that simply didn't know how to defend on the day too. Villa, Norwich, Sunderland(home), West Ham(home) but generally it's been the sides that have a go that give us the least trouble. Liverpool and Stoke away and Southampton at home should suit us so long as we play well. United will probably go into the game needing 3 points, which again could help us out, whilst Newcastle could go either way, they might be already down and defeated, they might desperately need a win or they might need to just avoid losing. Chelsea is the game which I think holds the most problems for us, they'll likely look to turn up for the 0-0 like they did earlier in the season.
Leicester are on a good run at the moment but they haven't been performing well. They've been riding their luck a bit lately so hopefully they'll drop some points along the way.

To confirm average league position of the teams we are still to play is 10th. For them it's 10.1(th) so it couldn't be much more of a level playing field - except for their 5 point advantage!
Got roasted for the goal, injured Joe Hart with a **** pass, should've had a penalty given against him for a foul on Rashford, then subbed off.
Doubt he'll be watching the highlights!
