Just seen the MOTD highlights and in the ManU v Watford match I note Depay (I refuse to call him Memphis which is apparently what he wants) "winning" a free kick, which ultimately won them the match. Did anyone else think that the free kick was dodgy?
As Lidls points out, it was Martial. Definitely a dive, though.
Watford should've had a penalty just before that, too. Shirt pulling on corners doesn't often get called, though.

Do you know why he wants to be known as Memphis? Apparently it is to disassociate himself from his father, who was, apparently, an abusive twat. I think this is why commentators give him leeway on the name - rather than him just being a prima donna.

Why doesn't he take his mother's maiden name, then? Seems like an easier solution.
Can't really blame him, though.

Since it hasn't been mentioned elsewhere on here, anyone else keeping an eye on the proposed Everton takeover?

Although the figure being quoted is about the same as certain clubs' summer transfer budget, Everton have been a well-run club for a long time despite having a shoestring budget and under constant threat of having key players spirited away by the usual suspects - so being able to keep their squad together, especially as we look set for another summer of John Stones stories, could see them challenge for European football and have a squad that can handle it.

Everton have just announced a reduction in ticket prices for next season. Fair play to them for this.

W Ham's games - Chelsea (a); Palace (H); Arsenal (H); Leicester (a) ;West Brom (a); Swansea (H); Stoke (A); Man Utd (H) to be rearranged.

If they win all those they'll win the league!!

5 points clear now I honestly can't see us or anyone catching them now. They have a better run in than everyone else too.

Grit and determination IS their game our's has other qualities.

I agree, and I suppose we shouldn't grumble after a poor week when in the great scheme of things, Spurs have had a fantastic season, regardless of where they finish in the PL.<ok>
