Caballero was inspired. Justice for City too given that they had the clearest penalty you'll ever see turned down in normal time. Also, how good were Toure and Aguero's penalties? Found the side netting without even really looking like they were trying.

To be fair, CK, I was surprised that they put up the fight they did! I don't know if they lifted their game, or £ity continued to lower theirs.
 
I'm wondering if there is another benefit for Leicester with them playing Saturday. If they win then we (and the chasing pack) are always playing catch up if we play on Sunday. If we progress in the EL then we will play a lot of games on Sunday. Personally I'd always rather have points on the board than games in hand. It's added pressure if they go 5 points ahead. I wonder how they would do if we played on Saturday and won, going a point ahead of them, and they had to play on Sunday to catch up?

Not sure if you've seen but all 5 of our April fixtures have been changed for Sky so basically we have 5 Sunday's in a row from April 3rd to May 1st so we may well find out the answer to your thoughts. Four of those are 1.30 KO though so without having looked at the other fixtures, others such as yourselves, Arsenal and Man City may be on at 4 or even Monday night

We have 3 successive Monday night matches so will constantly be playing catch up, unless of course we open up a 4 pt lead over the next few weeks
 
I was also worried about this but today reassured me. As panicky and frustrated we were getting at every shot saved and every through ball over hit, the players on the pitch remained cucumber cool from minute 1 to minute 95. That's what I love about this Poch team; whilst the nerve-shredding games are still a welcome part of our calendar, the players themselves are remarkably disciplined and composed throughout. Even with 70 minutes gone, no-one out there looked for a moment like they were thinking 'this is going to be one of those days'.

At the same time, I don't think Leicester are capable of feeling pressure. Surely not? The team most pundits tipped for the drop now the favourites to win the title?! Everything from here on in is a massive bonus for them and far beyond anyone's expectations. The pressure is still on the 'big' clubs to restore the natural order of things. Arsenal crumbled under that pressure today. We looked the pressure square in the eye and said: 'piss off'.

Leicester made hard work of Norwich considering their respective positions in the table.
 
Leicester struggle against teams who sit back and pack the defense. They thrive on hitting open, attacking teams on the counter, simply waiting patiently for the unforced error and punishing it through one of the 2-3 players they possess who are actually good at football. Norwich played them the way we all should've played them until now...willingly give them the ball and let them try to figure out what to do with it. There's no question Leicester are still favourites for the title as they have no cup commitments to juggle, but they face at least 4 more of these relegation threatened scraps between now and the end of the season...eventually one of them will end up 0-0...
And that's all we need <diva>
 
I'm a bit surprised that Leicester are still favourites considering how hard they found it against Norwich. If that's the case they won't find it any easier against WBA surely? Two points isn't much across 11 games. After all, if they'd got the draw (and they didn't really deserve to win) we would already be ahead of them. But the pundits know all (!) and have pointed out they're relatively easy run-in... without noticing that (as people on here have rightly pointed out) they might find it harder against the struggling teams than the top ones. Same as they didn't seem to notice that Chelski started tailing off half way through last season but were shocked when they didn't show title winning form of this one.
 
There will be a spiral down for Leicester, there has to be; unless anyone genuinely believes that Leicester is the new Daddy of the Prem!

The only thing currently open to question is whether or not the spiral downwards has already started.

We need them to slip up more than once because we will. Every game that passes and they don't slip makes it another game we can't afford to .
They are favourites because at present with 11 games to go they are in prime position and everyone else still need to catch them.
 
On paper we have 5 difficult ones, The annual Spammers Cup Final, the last one at the ****ehole known as Upton Park, they would love to win that, The Goons iNLD, always difficult, Laugherpool at Klanfield, never easy, a resurgent Manure at our place and Chavski third game from last. Leicester have Chavski last, we need to be in front then because if Chavski have nothing to play for, we all know what the result will be. Win the next two then it's game on.

Also people with short memories saying if Leicester win the title it would be the greatest sporting upset ever. I don't recall too many events but I doubt that, but one I remember of Nottingham Forest winning the league and European Cup is surely a greater achievement? Mind you, having said plenty of negative things about Leicester's negative football, I'd be more than happy for them to finish in the top four (because it keeps out one of the Sky favourites), just not above us!

I happen to believe that Leicester's hardest games are going to be against those scrapping for relegation, because those are the teams that will hang on for a point, and defend from the off. Leicester needs teams to attack them, so that they can come along with the sucker punch - it's the mistake that most teams have made against Leicester and which Ranieri has cleverly exploited. He set out his stall to defend, knowing that most teams would have looked upon Leicester as easy prey, only having just come up from the Championship, and he must be delighted that teams continue to fall for his one-trick pony tactics.

They struggled against Norwich, because Norwich were hanging on for a point, and Leicester didn't get the space to play their chip-and-run tactics.

I had a top top weekend, then the football happened which left me slightly disappointed but not too much as we would've been fortunate to win as city probably should've won in normal time, but the Friday and Saturday night I had seems to have glossed over it.

So I'm alright tbh always next year <laugh>
