Can someone who has a good understanding of sports economics please explain how United are poised to become the first team to earn over £500m in annual revenue?

If their global legions of plastics haven't abandoned them until now, perhaps they aren't as plastic as we first assumed...
I would suggest a fiver for a cup of Manchester dishwater and 10 quid a beer. There you go......Bet I'm not out by much.

Some superb idiocy in the Express today: they report Spurs are looking to "hijack" Wet Spam's move for Batshuayi.

...errm, we were looking to sign Batshuayi back in 2014, and were making enquiries about him joining us last month - on the other hand, Wet Spam were busy trying to get documents that reveal they scammed the British taxpayer to pay for their new stadium redacted into oblivion.

Mad Gooners become ever more desperate:

Paul Merson - Pochettino to be Real Madrid manager next season. Merse are you sniffing again?

Charlie Nicholas - Tottenham have been fortunate with injuries. Despite having more than Arsenal, Charlie? Been keeping Merse company recently?

Thierry Henry - No members of the best defence in the league in his team of the season. Oh Thierry, that's just desperate!

Poor old Gooners know it's coming and can do nothing to stop it!

Nice to see Yedlin actually starting a game. Billy Jones has been **** recently, so I hope that he can keep him out of the side.

He needs some minutes to stop this being a wasted season. It's tough for attacking full backs when your centre halves are as bad as Sunderland's have been for most of this season. Shades of Danny Rose with Kaboul, Fazio, Chiriches, etc.

I love seeing JD still in there, still scoring goals, making a nuisance of himself, etc.

I know it was impractical for us to keep him, but he's showing that he's still got it.

Kirchhoff's done ok since his disastrous debut against us, from what I've seen.
Picking up yet another injury is not a great sign, though.

I hope that some of the younger England prospects are paying attention to the likes of Rodwell and Scott Sinclair.
Moving to a club that'll pay you a load of money but never play you can be extremely damaging to your career.

...and Adam Johnson. You don't hear his name any more after a move to City?
