Jheesuz you're damned if ya do and damned if don't eh? Either wumming or wumming with appraisal on this board it seems :D no room for criticism here :)
You've every reason to be optimistic this year I've never said any different tbh

When I mentioned a fit sturridge I put a little sentence in brackets saying it's all speculation, all ifs buts and maybes I said, so digging me out on that comes across as plain bitter tbh

I'll do it your way

Spurs are this season the bestest ever team I've ever seen, with God like players and a manager the likes of barca and real would take in a heartbeat if they could. You will win the title this year and go on a 20 year domination of domestic & European football all with a team built on just 18m, the fear got the better of me, I've been in denial along with the rest of the premier league teams and I whole heartedly apologise for such insolence.

The bites I get on here are unbelievable I feel like I'm holiday with the world's population of mosquitos.

Happy new year chaps :)

bites <laugh> is that the last throw of your cliched dice?

Unfortunately for you the season doesn't end until may, this is where spurs fans come unstuck and look silly.

Professional Mouser Danny Murphy:

“I grew up a Liverpool fan, played for them for seven years and only at Tottenham briefly but I have to say, Tottenham are in a better position and if I was a Tottenham supporter I’d be very, very excited about the coming seasons and this particular season.

“Liverpool, they need a turnaround of players and the reason I say this is somebody asked me how many Liverpool players would get into Tottenham’s first XI. “Here’s my quick answer to that – two, three maximum."

Even Carragher says we can win the league.

Only 1 Mouser I know thinks otherwise but it seems his mum and dad are taking him out for ice cream so he can't stay and entertain us with his Moustredamus act.

Out of sheer curiosity...which 3 players? Playing devil's advocate: maybe Coutinho, Moreno has been good at LB, but I'm stuck at those two tbh...

It was Coutinho, Clyne and Henderson. Although he said Walker for Clyne and Dier for Henderson could go either way. Basically it's only Coutinho and I'm not sure I'd play him either.

Hmmm.

Given the season Walker's having I'd disagree about Clyne. I have been quite impressed with Alberto Moreno at LB for them. He began the season a bit shakily but looks like he's rapidly developing a good understanding of PL football. I see him as being as defensively reliable as Davies with a bit more flair and technical ability which would also be enough to trump Rose's pace, for me. Not sure where the Henderson for Dier idea comes from as the former has hardly played this year so it's difficult to tell. And as for Sturridge, as talented as the lad is I think it would make everyone's life easier if we stop thinking of him as a footballer and start instead acknowledging his extensive annual contributions to research in fields such as medicine, sports science and physiotherapy.

happy new......anyway it's pissed me right off there's no fixture list for tomorrow...**** New Years, it's not the same without a 5-3 score line.

Sam Allardyce has said he would "pack his bags" and quit as Sunderland manager if there was no hope of them avoiding relegation. (Mirror)

That's very brave of him!

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink says Diego Costa's team-mates must help relieve the goalscoring burden on the Spain international.(London Evening Standard)

What burden?

The useless ****er hasn't been scoring!

Bournemouth have signed juan iturbe on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. This guy was regarded as one of the hottest prospect's in world football a couple a seasons ago, will be great to see him in the prem.

I hope he can make enough of a difference to keep Bournemouth in the Prem.
