They look awful so far. It’s bad when your spine all ages or gets hurt at once and your established weakness as a manager is sticking with players too long. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a player go from too good for the league to not good enough as fast as Fabregas.

The announcers are saying the dressing room has gone. The examination room certainly has.

On the other hand, Southampton in general and Koeman in particular deserve a lot of credit for putting together good teams after losing lots of talent two years in a row.

WT actual F is going on at Chelsea???

... and when are pundits going to stop talking about them being certain to get a top four place, along with the other usual suspects?

Oh boo hoo poor Chelsea. Everyone is against them. Nothing to do with them being outplayed. Absolutely the reason why all other supporters are loving the fact they are doing so cr*p.
No class whatsoever

Watch out shoppers along the Kings Road.Crowds of pot hunters heading your way!!!!

I did say last season that everyone was beating each other to give Chelsea the League title.

Chelsea are only 10 points behind City and have the ability to go on a long unbeaten run, too early to rule them out of top four due to them having a shambolic start, especially when you have teams such as West Ham/Crystal Palace and Leicester in the top six.

But, it depends on what's irked Mourinho, as a team plays in the manner of the manager and the only difference between this year and last, is that Mourinho doesn't appear to feel as settled/confident. He has gone into overdrive in terms of praising himself and his ability, he only does that when he's on the defensive so there must be an issue with the club that we don't know about, as from the outset (when Terry was in the side) they had issues as a team, so it goes deeper then simply dropping Terry.

Just seen his interview

"There are other people in the club that should also assume their responsibilities and to stick together. This is what I want.

"You know I have a big self-esteem and a big ego. I consider myself the best, having the worst period and worst results of my career.

"Doing that as a professional hurts me a lot and doing that at Chelsea hurts me twice. I want to carry on, no doubt.

"Sadness brings sadness and bad results attracts bad results."

****ing genius I am, I took Aguero out of my fantasy team for the Spurs game and forgot to change it back before I left for Bournemouth <doh>

Gomes' performance sunk my accumulator too. Stoke, Bournemouth and City(-2) at 16/1 seemed a bargain too :(

Pretty entertaining Merseyside Derby so far.

Still no idea what Rodgers is trying to get his team to do, it's all a bit out of control, there's no shape to it.

Should be a sackable offence if Rodgers comes out talking about how his players did well and played with "intesity" and "character". Everton were all over them and they offered nothing going forward second half.

Liverpool got their obligatory refereeing decision with Lucas avoiding an obvious second yellow and thus dismissal, only to be substituted shortly after.

I wish Liverpool had waited two weeks before sacking Rodgers. It might make them just a little bit harder to beat on the when we play them on the 17th.

On the other hand, whoever they get in is going to have minimal time with the majority of the squad due to the international break. It could go either way.
