I was surprised that you hung onto him when he was almost sold at the beginning of last season. Personally I've always thought he was fairly average, but I know he had a lot of affection amongst spurs fans.

I was just interested in what the more considered spurs fans thought about this signing, I know there's a big expectation for Holtby, so I wondered if Chadli might free him up to play a position he might be better suited to. I'm not really expecting an articulate reply from you, so no need to feel that you have to offer one
He didn't want to leave so when we accepted an offer for him he rejected the deal to stay and fight his way back into the team. Full credit to him for doing this.

I rate Hiddink quite highly, did wonders in his short spell at Chelsea as Interim boss.
