One of these footballers plays for Spurs - the other four don't...

...I suppose it would never occur to someone as dim as you that a poster might not necessarily be in England...its not bedtime or past it where I am.

My apologies <ok> I thought your childish little rant might be down to tiredness.

I don't want your apologies, or your opinion on the truth, I want to know that if you are a gooner, why being here talking about a player we've signed, no-one spectacular, just a signing, is far more important than say.....Fabregas, a player so Arsenal thru n thru, so tearful to leave, promising to be back...but not after a spell up the M'way to pick up some medals with his ol mate RVP!

Yep.

Too many fans let their love for Dawson cloud how much of a average player he really is. He isn't anywhere near as good as Kaboul or Vertonghen.

I was surprised that you hung onto him when he was almost sold at the beginning of last season. Personally I've always thought he was fairly average, but I know he had a lot of affection amongst spurs fans.

Guus Hiddink has resigned as coach of Anzhi Makalakalakalakalakalakala. Looks like Barca have found their new coach.
Wonder who's going to Anzhi? Mancini?

No need to rant. I was just interested in what the more considered spurs fans thought about this signing, I know there's a big expectation for Holtby, so I wondered if Chadli might free him up to play a position he might be better suited to. I'm not really expecting an articulate reply from you, so no need to feel that you have to offer one <ok>

He didn't want to leave so when we accepted an offer for him he rejected the deal to stay and fight his way back into the team. Full credit to him for doing this.

You might think he's average but he had a much better season then Vermaelen so not a bad third choice to have, eh?

ouch!
I rate Hiddink quite highly, did wonders in his short spell at Chelsea as Interim boss.
I shudder to think what Barca would do if they ever got a decent manager.
Their last few have had the intelligence and tactical nous of my 2 year old daughter and they have still mopped up trophies, imagine what they could do with a real manager in charge.

Reports in the Spanish press are now saying that Tata Martino is going to be the new Barca coach.
If that's true, then where the hell is Hiddink going? He only signed a new contract with Anzhi recently, so he must be off somewhere, surely? Odd.
