I think now we shall see Liverpool fall away and Everton and City continue their poor away form. Let's hope that we break this blip tomorrow because Arsenal are looking threatening and I don't mean by our recent habit of one goal,I mean by three. Everton winning today did us a massive favour but I was hoping Swansea might put up more of a fight. True Arsenal's first was a deflection but I don't think that it means too much and their last was at the death so it wasn't exactly a fluid performance.

It be hard to self motivate when the players realise they can't achieve a great deal more, but there was an interview recently with their captain and manager speaking about the desire to finish ahead of their points total from last year (which was 47), currently they are on 40, so still some way to reach 47 before the season ends.
Just caught Motd and Mancini played 3-4-3, three at the back always causes issues/problems yet why doesnt Mancini see this? he was blaming the board for not replacing the injured kompany yet his tinkering has given Man utd a free run to the title.

Bunn didn't help himself with his arms there but it looked like a reflex action with Graham looking to get his foot up to compete for the ball. I think it hit him in the chest first and then the arm but even after replays it's not clearcut to me so Foy must've had a much better view to be sure enough to give it.
Now Bassong' concedes a penalty for the ball coming off his chest onto his arm. Norwich can feel very hard done by, now Sunderland are level it's hard to see 10 man Norwich getting anything out of this.

Remember the dodgy Utd defence that conceded 28 goals in the first 19 PL games? It's let in 3 in the next 10 since Boxing Day- and the gap is 15 points as a result.
Any team going for those top four places needs to go back to basics and stop conceding. Arsenal have conceded 3 in their last 5 PL games. Beware. Spurs have let in 7 in the last 4 after conceding 5 in the previous 10. Forget Bale, forget Lennon. Sort the defence if you want to finish above Arsenal.

Good points. After the defeat to Spurs, that's exactly what we have done. We had a ten day gap between the Spurs and Bayern games, and we used that time wisely. Worked on the defence, and have as a result kept clean sheets away to Bayern Munich and Swansea.
As I have said recently.If you have a couple of goalscorers that score goals,it makes the manager look like a genius.
