Rubbish display from Chelsea, so far. Failing to break down the stubborn resistence of Brentford, despite diving all over the place and reffing the game themselves.
Very lucky not to be behind.

Echoes of Arsenal yesterday PNP? I try and put myself in the position of a supporter of the home team and if I were a Chelsea fan I'd expect to be ahead now. Worrying.

Echoes of Arsenal yesterday PNP?

Chelsea have had a few chances, notably falling to Lampard in the main, but they've also looked a bit vulnerable at the back, TMT.
Arsenal didn't really look like scoring or conceding yesterday, whereas today it looks like both teams could score, which probably favours Chelsea.
Brentford had a goal chalked off though, in order to give them a free-kick on the edge of Chelsea's box. <doh> Ref reacted far too quickly and should've played the advantage.

Yes I read that. I'm looking at the BBC live commentary and Chelsea look the more dangerous of the two. Interesting observations about the difference between yesterday's and today's matches PNP.

I agree with what DL is saying.

We haven't had a bad spell of results this season. Yes, we've had a few bad individual results at different times, but nothing that's lasted for a few weeks in a row. Ill be very surprised if we don't have a period like this, as its very common for every club to experience that at some point in the season; some clubs' having a worse time than others.

We've been pulling results out of the bag even when not playing that well, and bale has saved our arse recently. I can't see that lasting for the rest of the season, althought I sincerely hope it does! Being realistic, it's unlikely.

Didn't we lose something like 5 out of 6, or 5 in a row awhile back? Edit: it was 4 out of 5 but I still think that counts as a dip in form.

Bloody Mata <grr>

Chelsea will beat Boro. It's more games for them, though and their squad looks a bit thin.
Other than Lampard, of course... <whistle>

The commentators make me laugh, at first they think Luiz clipped his heels and now they've realised it was a body check(how they didn't see that first time) they think it's a straight red. They're full of so much **** <doh>

Oscar man of the match over Mata? <laugh>

4-0 up and into the last 5 minutes, and Luiz still feels it necessary to take a Brentford player out. What a horrible bunch they are.

They lack class all through their team. Ivanovich, Terry, Luiz, Cole, Hazard... you wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
