I thought he was making the very same complaint many of you make on here regularly?

That the game seems to be run for the benefit of Sky.

'We' only see the fixture list and react to that - in particular I remember an occasion a couple of years ago when they have got a 2-day advantage over us in the run-in to a game.
BaconFace on the other hand represents one of the biggest clubs in Europe, has the ear of all senior TV and Football officialdom, yet still thinks it appropriate to whinge in the Press about the bad deal he gets.

Not the same thing at all....

To be fair to Ferguson he does have a point on the scheduling this week. They should have as much time as possible to prepare for Real - I doubt the top Spanish or Italian clubs are in the same boat.

We had to play Spurs, Barca, Arsenal, Barca in a 9 day period starting off with a Sunday 6pm kick off and nobody batted an eyelid, but because it's United all of a sudden it's now an "unfair" and "ridiculous" schedule. Fergie will play kids in the cup at home to Reading and still win so it's no big deal. If he doesn't want to play twice in a week either pull out of Europe or pull out of the PL, doesn't bother me either way.

I thought that was ridiculous as well though DL. All the teams in europe get a raw deal. I genuinely don't think that the schedulers or the FA ever give a **** which is why we could end up losing the 4th place in the Champions league.

I don't remember Ferguson moaning when City faced an away tie after every single Champions League game last season.
Should the schedule be changed to help teams in Europe? Probably.
Is it already selected in a way that favours certain clubs? Almost certainly.

Rooney (said Ferry on the Radio) scores for Swindon on the 15 minute mark.

With both Doncaster and Tranmere losing after 10 minutes, Swindon go top of League One.

<whistle>

I see QPR are getting slaughtered.

If they lose today, I can see Redknapp taking his third team down.

That won't look good on his CV when he applies for Roy's job, after our early exit from the next World Cup.

Was too much to ask to expect Wigan to get anything against the Chavs , but was at least hoping that Sunderland would turn up on their own pitch!!!! However, Wilshere just gone off injured - that might change things.....

And Wigan have got a goal back!!
20 mins to go..... Could be an interesting period for the Goons!!
