Not sure if Arsenal have the financial mussel to attract Cavani. If richer clubs are interested he could have bigger fish to fry

What do you guys make of all this Cavani to Arsenal talk?

Having bought Podolski and Giroud, Wenger is admitting one was a mistake, with Walcott pressing for a CF role, its not like they're short on numbers. Not sure those 3 would whelkcome his arrival.

Wengers making a rod for his own back if he's not careful. :)

A bunch of hacks have descended upon the ball boy's online media ramblings since Hazard's dismissal.
They're hyping up the fact that his dad's rich, for some reason, like that should have some influence on what happened or people's judgement of it.
After all this journalistic interest in this twat's Twitter page, they seem to have missed him committing a rather low end, but football related crime.

SSN showing the Bristol City v Derby game on the 15th December, which was a 3pm kick off.
That means that he's streaming Liverpool's humiliating home loss to Villa.
Disgraceful. What sort of person does that sort of thing? Watching Liverpool...

Arsenal can't afford (or attract) Cavani to leave star status in Napoli, a title challenge and not to mention he signed a long term contract in the summer.

Cavani is up there with Falcao, in fact I would say hes been more impressive as Italian defenders are of higher quality in general and Serie A isn't as bad as some make out.

I'm sure when Wenger calls him to say:

"you will be signing for a club that can't fill their stadium, has a crap atmosphere at home games, won't win a major trophy while I'm in charge....oh and we have a wage cap....but just to convince you, you can play with theo walcott".....

..Cavani will jump at the chance to leave his life in naples for all that.

Big night tonight for Paul Lambert and Villa, away to Millwall in the FAC. They're currently 1-0 in front halfway through the 1st half, scored by Darren Bent.

No surprises there!! We really should be looking to bring him back for the rest of the season as cover (and an ass-kick) for Walker. There are enough games coming up to keep him busy and from what I can see the lads ready.
Or did we agree a season long loan?
