Taken from the BBC Football website:-

Gervinho is hoping to emulate a former Arsenal great this season.

The Ivory Coast winger, signed from Lille in an £11m deal last summer, says: "I really hope to emulate Robert Pires in my second season, hopefully do even better, but I hope to carve out my own niche of course.

"I hope to push on personally, also to progress with the team and to showcase my qualities, before I put in my transfer request to either City or United to actually go and win something in my career."

There! fixed it for you, Mr Gervinho <ok>

he missed out Barcelona....

"I've been watching clips of his diving technique, but also taking in some of the modern masters, like Ashley Young. You have to try and move with the times."

I think that's what he said, anyway...

I've never quite understood why the Spanners feel such an intense rivalry with us. I don't know of one single Spurs fan who feels the same way about the Spanners. Yes, we like taking 6 points off them; yes, we laugh at their misfortunes, but not the degree to which the Spanners feel their rivalry against us.

I think it's partly because many Spurs fan don't care about them, and partly that they honestly feel they're somewhere near our level, whereas in terms of success and size of club, they're as far away from us as we are from Arsenal. Arguably indeed farther, which again if most Hammers fans read that they'd probably consider that Spurs arrogance/delusion, as they tend to think they're much closer to us in terms of stature than we are to Arsenal.

Cahill has admitted Torres goal was offside, and The Goons are up in arms because Robbie Savage say's they are not a big club now.

We must be up for something good this year then. Last season he guaranteed we wouldn't finish top 4... <laugh>

He is free to express himself on our board, away from the dictatorship of Piskie....but be careful you may go the same way as Ammaar or Eboue for that matter.

Eh? I have no problem with the mods or any "insulting" either.

I think those users you mentioned left and joined another board. It was very creepy though... just like 5 enthusiastic posters, with 100 posts a day each singing high praises of one another..

They might as well just join group chat in their instant messengers at that point...

It's just media bull. He was probably shown a video, asked if it was offside and said yes. The media are just doing everything and anything to discredit our win just as they did when Everton beat United

That's not true. There is a contingent of Spurs fans obsessed with West Ham and vice versa.

My housemate plays in the Uni team with Spurs STH's (home and away) and he told me that the Spurs fans on the team were even more delighted than I was when West Ham went down (something I didn't think was possible).

Any game featuring 2 of West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs always has am edge to it as the rivalries are massive but Spurs v Arsenal amongst those is by far and away the biggest, but the others still big too.

I know many Spurs fans (that live by me) that hate Chelsea more than Arsenal and I know of many Spurs fans by Essex way that hate West Ham more than Arsenal

We don't need Cahill's confirmation on that matter do we?

There was green grass between Torres and the defender in a very bright yellow top.

They were hounded out and in Ammaar's case he was accused of being a Spurs fan because he dared to have a decent debate with us.

Everybody could see it. They didn't need to ask Cahill. Did they ask Kompany if Tevez's goal was offside?

It's as if Cahill is a Key Witness in a homicide

Prosecution: "Mr Cahill, did you see this man entering the building between the hours of 6pm and 7pm

Cahill: Yes......... Yes I did

<laugh>

Wrong. He left of his own accord and joined another forum. The rest left to follow their lord and master, Jayram.

Gent, watch out for PESKIE. He is a megalomaniac, and will not take at all kindly to your being here and discussing matters in a reasonable manner.

By the way, I know for a fact that PESKIE posts on that "other" board to which you refer. Not under the same name, of course.

It's all well and good having immature, power-hungry mods running your board, but frighten away just as many people as you attract, and that cannot be a good thing.
