Sol Campbell was the one talking about handing his caps back to the FA though. It's just a coincidence that JT has the same amount <steam>

I wonder if there's a way of altering the forum, so that every instance of that name is replaced by his rightful title of Judas?
I know of one site where a certain racist word is transformed into the phrase My Little Pony.
Makes far right rants a little different in tone.

I'd prefer something like..."low life judas scum" it somehow has a better ring to it.

My little Pony and S** C******* on the one thread !! so many jokes could be written about them but we are above that surely !!!

Haha, that'd be good. We could definitely do with getting Spud changed to Spurs

I'm copying the following post from another thread, because some of the Gooners won't be looking for it in the other thread, and I believe it is important that they see it.

"Manchester City have been dealt a blow in their bid to sign Arsenal's Robin van Persie, with his father saying the striker will not join another English club."

(Source: Metro)

Regarding the quote I posted earlier from RVP's dad (see above), I read this comment by a Gooner on their board:-

This article is as clear as can be regarding RVP, he DOES NOT WANT TO LEAVE. I think his dad spelt it out as clear as can be without saying, Arsenal, get your FUGGING act straight! If negotiations go well at Arsenal then he'll stay. But we no longer have someone as good as David Dein and unfortunately we seem to be driven by something other than football.

<doh>
How blind and deluded can you get! I thought the Mousers were bad, but this lad really takes the biscuit!

He does not seem to understand that what RVP's dad is say is "RVP is leaving Arsenal, but he won't be joining another English club, because he wants to go abroad to win things."

I truly believe that RVP's leaving is really going to cut up a lot of the Gooners, to such an extent that I almost feel a bit sorry for them.

They are going to be utter pants without him, next season. And as much as I will enjoy seeing them finish below the likes of QPR and Fulham, it'll be like a turkey-shoot, which isn't any fun at all, really.

Well now, what do we think of our rivals? They will all be happy that Harry's gone as they think we won't compete but I'm not sure what they will do. If the gooners lose Van Persie then as we know his goals were invaluable to them last season and who'd they get to replace him? Chelsea's boss has yet to prove himself imo and last season's second half with him was a flash in the pan. I'm certain Pool won't compete and what if Mancini leaves City? Coys, get the right boss in.

all depends on who we get Thor....this is mighty important we can go downhill or reach a potential many think this squad should reach and then shoot up the table.

lets see..im excited and anxious at the same time.

Spot on Spurlock. I have never felt more insecure and yet hopeful at the same time. All spurs fans will be watching with breath held in our first match. Now I think as we are playing Liverpool in a friendly it will be a bloody good indicator as to the intentions of our new boss if we win it. I know that pre season friendlies are not a judge of the coming season but I think this match will be.COYS.

Isn't Dzagoev more of an attacking midfielder?
Year left on his contract, but his form at the Euros will probably attract a lot of interest.
