If you remember rightly, what I was saying on your board, back then, was that Wenger was part of the problem, not the cause of it. The main problem (I said, and still believe) is your board, which still has a foot rooted in the 70s. It loves Wenger, because he puts into practice your board parsimonious view of financial dealings. He doesn't rock the boat, has made your club millions by discovering and nurturing raw young talent, and absolutely never blames your club for anything that goes wrong.

And, no, you won't get CL footy next season (something that PISKIE took extreme exception to me arguing, and which ultimately lead to his poisoning the super mod against me and getting me banned), but I don't think that will be the end of Wenger, as I am sure that your octogenarian board will give him a chance to build. Indeed, I am certain that they have factored into their equations the fact that, by cutting your team down to its bare bones, you are going to be bereft of CL footy for a few seasons. They are not fans, but business men, and old business men at that, and they look at things in a completely different light to you lot, although they would never dare to admit it to you.

This is not wumming on part. It is what I see, as an intelligent and educated observer and lover of football.

On the positive side, I cannot see that your club will, ultimately, fail. Sure, like 'Pool, you'll be in the wilderness for a few seasons, but you'll always be there or thereabouts, and we will always have to get passed you to gain CL footy. Your fortunes will revive again, and you'll be stronger for it.

That's the message that I have always put to you guys. Six months ago, most of you were too immature and far too arrogant to listen to what I was really saying. Some of you, now, are simply deluded, and unfortunately your mod is the prime culprit in that department. But I speak from my heart, and not out of malice.

I was speaking somewhat ironically. It's something that you guys failed to spot the first time (unfortunately).

There is no way that PISKIE will have the courage to admit that he was wrong. He simply isn't big (let alone big enough).

I'll be content in the knowledge that he knows full well I was right, and that I know he has been a complete and utter tit. And probably always will be.
 
Interesting that the new BBC site has Liverpoor above the Toon but the actual PL site has it the other way round .... the BBC is to accuracy as Skid Marks is to impartiality.
 
yes, arsenal are sh!t right now, very bad at 7th, but this is the exception, not the norm, whereas for Spurs being mid-table is the norm, not the exception, so enjoy your little laughs for now, we are still the bigger club than you, one season doesn't mean jack all, even Spurs fans know this deep down, and furthermore the only reason why we are so sh!t is because we have a blind manager who refuses to change, so enjoy it for now, congrats, after 15 years you finnish above Arsenal for the first time, try doing it 15 years in a row like we did then come back and talk to us.

so how do you know this is only one season?

i can tell you now we have been improving as a team bit by bit..season by season...has Arsenal?
